Cons: Not fully integrated system with Samsung TV's - bummer Other Thoughts: I bought this soundbar to go with a Samsung 55" 7100 Smart TV thinking I would get good seamless synch, but no: 1. Hook up in the directions-preferred method using HDMI ARC cables and the TV remote will cut the soundbar off, BUT NOT ON... 2. So, OK, replace the HDMI cable and hook it up with optical cable and viola, it will cut both systems on and off with the TV remote, BUT IT DISABLES THE REMOTE VOLUME AND MUTE BUTTONS... bummer.. it seems Samsung wants to force you to use 2 remotes. Dont bother surfing the net for workarounds or chatting with Samsung on their site, this is a bug and you must accept it buster. Did you find this review helpful? Marvel 8/4/2012 7:08:28 PM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5niufootball64 Pros: I had listened to this sound system in a store, so wasn't surprised by the great sound...doesn't equal the 6 speaker surround system in the man cave, but then I didn't expect to get 6 speaker sound out of 2 speakers. For a living room dominated by a wife who didn't want speakers everywhere, this system is great. Cons: I guess I didn't really understand that the wireless feature refers to the communication between the main speakers and the subwoofer. I assumed I could place the subwoofer anywhere in the room, but the sub must be connected via HDMI, FiberOptic, or Component to your TV, or DVD, or whatever. Consequently, it must be located fairly close to the TV. Conversely, you could place the main unit anywhere in the room, but I don't see any benefit in that. However, the sub sound rocks this room and I'm delighted with it. Other Thoughts: Listened to a lot of soundbars prior to purchase. This was the best one, other than Bose, and has not disappointed. Make sure you order the 550 if you want all black, as the 551 has silver features and a silver sub. Also, purchase 2 HDMI cables. 6 out of 6 people found this review helpful. Did you?
