The best AVR I used
Pros: Audyssey MultEQ XT is amazingly great!
Other Thoughts: It is a Pro AV Receiver!

Pros: I have only had the AVR2112CI for a couple weeks but so far I am pretty much blown away at how great it sounds. To give you some background I upgraded from a newer Panasonic HTIB that wasn't a cheap model and had all the latest cutting edge sound features but the difference between the systems is night and day. I matched the 2112 with a set of MartinLogan MLT-2's and the combination is excellent. I am no expert and I have not even set up the networking options yet but the sound alone is killer. I researched a ton online and compared all the other big name makes and their all fine and good but in the end my research led me to believe the Denon and Martz have the best sound (although they both cost a little more) and the Denon offers more features for the money. I got my receiver and speakers both on sale. The only problem is once you move up to high quality components (Denon-MartinLogan) you can never go back and everything else sounds like crud. continued in cons
Cons: no cons - continued: Also, I chose these components because I did not want to spend a ton of money and these were good values for the money. Now in my other TV room, my smaller living room I have a 5-year old Bose Cinemate that is not cutting it. I am thinking of upgrading the speakers for my Denon to the Pioneer SP-PK21BS which they say are the best inexpensive speakers there are and moving my MartinLogan MLT-2’s to my family room and running those through a receiver now on sale the Pioneer VSX 531 for $139.00. I need to make these changes because my non-component family room is just no good after buying this killer Denon AVR2112ci. I would buy another if I could afford it
