With its vast array of inputs and network functions, the Denon AVR-2112CI 7.1-Channel Integrated Network A/V Receiver puts you in command. As the entry-level model of the IN-Command Series, this receiver sets a new standard in 3D, Blu-ray, game console, and other entertainment device integration. The AVR-2112CI features seven discrete 90-watt channels of equal power and multiple high-resolution audio formats for superior surround sound audio performance. It also supports HDMI with 3D and Audio Return Channel, so you can get the most out of 3D content. Enhanced by digital network audio/photo streaming capabilities, including support for AirPlay, mp3/WMA/WAV and FLAC HD audio, and Windows 7 compatibility, the AVR-2112CI is a solid foundation for your networked home entertainment system.

  • newegg Equal Power Amp Design Each of the AVR-2112CI's seven 90-watt channels is powered by its own discrete circuit. This allows the receiver to reproduce original sound more faithfully than conventional models, which use integrated circuits. (90 watts per channel (8 ohms, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, THD 0.08 %), 125 watts per channel (6 ohms, 1 kHz, THD 0.7%))
  • newegg High-Definition Audio Support & Dolby Pro Logic IIz The AVR-2112CI features support for Blu-ray high-definition audio formats, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. With the option of two additional height channels, Dolby Pro Logic IIz adds a vertical dimension to the soundstage, providing more immersive surround sound.
  • newegg Audyssey MultEQ XT Support Audyssey technology helps create an optimal acoustic profile for your home theater by resolving finer details in the response, particular in the low-frequency range. Using the included calibration microphone, Audyssey MultEQ XT measures sound levels and adjusts speaker configuration accordingly, making setup fast and easy.
  • newegg Multi-Zone/Multi-Source Playback The AVR-2112CI lets you enjoy a program source in the Main Zone (the room where the AVR-2112CI is located) and in one other room. The source can be the same for both zones, or you can enjoy two different sources in those zones if you prefer. Use the Denon Remote App to control all the zones from anywhere in the home.
  • newegg Full HD & 3D Support With six HDMI inputs, the AVR-2112CI allows you to route multiple high-definition devices--like game consoles and Blu-ray players--to your TV. It also allows you to connect all of your devices to your TV with a single HDMI cable, reducing cable clutter. The latest HDMI connections allow you to make the most of several premium video features including, 3D Pass-Through, Audio Return Channel, Auto Lipsync Setting, and Deep Color & x.v.Color Support.
  • newegg Enhanced Network Capability and iPod Connectivity When connected to a network, the AVR-2112CI lets you listen to Internet radio, play audio files, and display images via an Ethernet connection. The receiver also supports AirPlay, which allows you to stream music wirelessly from an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or iTunes. Or, connect an iPhone/iPod/iPad directly to the receiver with a USB cable. With the Denon Remote App installed on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, you can perform basic operations, like turning the AVR-2112CI's power on or off, adjusting the volume, and switching sources.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Unit

Pros: I have only had the AVR2112CI for a couple weeks but so far I am pretty much blown away at how great it sounds. To give you some background I upgraded from a newer Panasonic HTIB that wasn't a cheap model and had all the latest cutting edge sound features but the difference between the systems is night and day. I matched the 2112 with a set of MartinLogan MLT-2's and the combination is excellent. I am no expert and I have not even set up the networking options yet but the sound alone is killer. I researched a ton online and compared all the other big name makes and their all fine and good but in the end my research led me to believe the Denon and Martz have the best sound (although they both cost a little more) and the Denon offers more features for the money. I got my receiver and speakers both on sale. The only problem is once you move up to high quality components (Denon-MartinLogan) you can never go back and everything else sounds like crud. continued in cons

Cons: no cons - continued: Also, I chose these components because I did not want to spend a ton of money and these were good values for the money. Now in my other TV room, my smaller living room I have a 5-year old Bose Cinemate that is not cutting it. I am thinking of upgrading the speakers for my Denon to the Pioneer SP-PK21BS which they say are the best inexpensive speakers there are and moving my MartinLogan MLT-2’s to my family room and running those through a receiver now on sale the Pioneer VSX 531 for $139.00. I need to make these changes because my non-component family room is just no good after buying this killer Denon AVR2112ci. I would buy another if I could afford it
