5 out of 5 eggsIve owned it for 2 years, still going strong!

Pros: I have used my Killawatt meter for over 2 years continuously, occasionally switching outlets and it has never failed me. I double checked a number of appliances with a multi meter and I can say that it is definitely accurate, as the readings from the killawatt and multimeter are always very close to each other.

Well worth it to find out how much electricity some appliances use when they are completely shut off! Its mindblowing.

Cons: Must have direct line of sight on almost a zero degree angle. Would love it if the readings were available on the top as well as the front of the unit. Other than that, it is awesome.

Other Thoughts: Ive probably saved 5-10x the amount of money I spent on this unit by knowing which appliances to unplug when they are not in use.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it.

Pros: Inexpensive and simple. A few options for the display.

Cons: No LED back-lit display. I need to use a flashlight under my desk. But that's my problem, not Kill-A-Watt's.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great for knowing exactly how much power vampire loads are using on things like tv/consoles and the like.

Found some devices that use as much as LED light bulbs well off! started turning the power strip off on those ones.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsAs expected.

Pros: -Does exactly what it is supposed to do.

I'm sure there's a lot of features that could be added in the 'pros' list, however I only needed it for one thing (testing wattage of computer components) and it did exactly that.

Cons: Screen doesn't light up, so it's hard to see the display in low light.

Other Thoughts: Great product, looks and feels high quality.

2 out of 5 eggsBroke

Pros: Does what it says it does.
Cheap
Has nice read outs and display

Cons: I had this thing plugged into a few different computers and simply left them plugged into it. The first one broke after about a week of use. It simply fried. I received a second replacement unit, it lasted a month and a week, after which it also broke.

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure what's going wrong with these units, but it seems like they can't handle the power going through them or something. I was using them on mining systems that drew around ~1500w. They were definitely under the rated wattage on the back of the device which is 1875w.
