Pros: First off I own the 92' 16:9 version of this exact screen The casing: Its a white painted cast metal with plastic end caps. Its aprox 25lbs and seems very well built considering the price. The end caps offer 2 ways to mount. Either with the built on metal rings for the ceiling or a plastic clip looking thing built at the back of the plastic end caps. I use the metal ceiling ring mounts because the plastic wall mounts are flimsy. The retracting and screen look & quality: The screen seems to be made of a lightly textured vinyl with the same vinyl material making up the black edge. The screen can be pulled down to a point where there will be about 1 1/2 feet of extra black edge on top, at which point there will be a white "stop" in text to let you know you've run out of screen. It retracts with a strong spring feel every time. The screen weight and quality is great for the price. At its 1.1 gain my 720p & 1080p images look surprisingly bright at almost every angle. Very pleased.
Cons: 2 cons worth mentioning: When it first arrived both the left and right edges curled inward quite a bit. I figured that it was from being rolled up in its case for who know how long before I bought it. My thought was that by leaving it hanging and rolled out for a while it would eventually flatten out. Well, its been over a month now and still the edges are slightly curled. Not nearly as bad as before but noticeable. Hopefully another month of hanging will work.. The other con is the wall mounting clip/eyelets. A piece of advice, don't use them. My 92' screen at 25lbs is pushing it. However the metal ceiling mounts work very well.
Other Thoughts: I use this with a Acer K11 mini projector at only 200 Lumens. According to the projectors specs its only suppose to go as large as 80 inches. On plain walls that seems to be true but on this 92' screen its very clear. Keep in mind before buying a screen, that your screen gain ratio will make a huge difference as to how bright things will look. The reason this is so cheap is mostly because its a cheaper material and has virtually no gain. But, it will most definitely look better than a plain white wall. I watched a blu-ray of Avatar as my first test and was smiling ear to ear :) For my 92' I spent about $95 after shipping. Aside from the screen still flattening out I am completely satisfied for the money spent.
