Pros: It was cheap.

Cons: Poor quality, starting getting crackling noise after one month of use.

Other Thoughts: I used this wire to connect my cable box to a/v receiver. After a month of use I started hearing a static/crackling noise, like I had blown a speaker. The wire showed no damage, but when it was replaced the static/crackling noise went away.

Pros: Very affordable

Cons: Bought three cables, one has a faulty locking connector which just goes in and never locks: there is no click and will disconnect easily. I have no real problems with that, but it's a faulty cable and the reason why I took 1 star from the rating.

Other Thoughts: Using these to connect my PS3, WD Live and my Sony Bravia XBR to the Sony Home Theater... why? Because if any of the source comes with DTS sound it doesn't get transmitted thru the TV to the HT, that only works with Dolby. The trick was to use a toslink switch to select the source.
