Cons: Doesn't work with a TV, which is why I bought it! I should have read the details and reviews but when you are just looking for a darn cable, you figure it is going to work.

Other Thoughts: What on earth would anyone use this cable for besides hooking a computer to an older TV? What a useless product.

Other Thoughts: This cable is.originally made for sending component video to a vga input of a device such as a Folsom video switcher to get the best picture quality from that video source (usually a DVD player or a video game console).

Cons: None, if you know what it's supposed to do.

Other Thoughts: I looked around the internet at cables of similar design to mine and found out why it doesn't work. It turns out that the signal coming from the VGA port must be a "Y, B-Y, R-Y" component video signal for it to work as intended (or have some kind of VGA to "Y, B-Y, R-Y" component video converter placed in between). I hope this info is helpful.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this cable some time ago. I've tried it with Pro and Consumer gear ((game consoles, LCD projectors, standard and digital HD LED TVs) alike with the same results. A "jacked up image", or no image at all, which leads me to believe that I must be feeding it the wrong kind of signal. I wish I knew what to do to get any kind of use out of this thing. Unless you "KNOW what to do with this thing", do not buy it.

Pros: This cable does exactly as made to do.

Cons: It is not meant for computer to TV.

Cons: It says right in the product description that it can't be used to connect a PC to a TV.

Just curious, what else would anyone possibly want to use this for? Seriously.

Cons: This cable does not work. I get a no signal message on my tv when i try to connect it with this cable. I should have listened to the other reviewer.

Other Thoughts: Thankfully newegg gave me a refund for this product. Thanks Newegg for being good with customers.

Pros: The connectors are well constructed.

Cons: The product does not work. The joint where the component and VGA merge is not sturdy at all.
