Pros: This is an excellent pocket radio. It also has a speaker so you do not have to the wear ear buds that come with it to listen to it.

The "favorites" buttons allows you to easily cycle through all presets. There is a 'lock' switch that locks all the buttons so you can put the radio in your pants pocket and none of the buttons can be pressed. I like the lock button when I put the radio in my pocket when I ride my bike.

The radio is very sensitive and picks up weak stations easily. The sound quality from the small speaker is good and the included ear buds sound great. The Dynamic Bass Boost switch makes the ear buds sound excellent.

The radio displays a clock when it is off. Quite a nice radio in a small package.

Pros: I bought this radio to replace a 12 year old model of this radio that I lost. This updated radio has many nice features. The 90 minute auto off timer can be turn off. The favorites button makes it possible to easily cycle through your saved stations. When the radio is off the display shows a clock. Nice. The display back light comes on and off automatically. Nice again.

The reception is excellent on both AM and FM. I do not find it necessary to have to use the external FM antenna. Also a very good pair of ear buds comes with the radio. The DBB, dynamic bass boost, switch really makes this little radio sound great while using the ear buds. The speaker sounds good also.

I put this radio in my front pants pocket while working around the house and riding my bike for exercise. The reception is very reliable. I mostly use the speaker for this.
With the lock button switched on the radio will not change stations while I have it in my pocket.

I like this radio very much. I am almost glad I lost my old one!

Pros: I bought this Sangean DT200X because it scores well as a substitute for a digital music player, like an iPod.

Basically, it's simpler to use, more economical, and just as cool and sleek as are digital music player products.

To use it, I don't have to have an Internet connection to download and to pay for music. I just turn it on and tune-in my favorite music station.

Moreover, I don't have to deal with a music library, drivers, USB ports, and compatibility issues. I don't have to troubleshoot sync problems and handle other software features, like those with iTunes.

I like listening to music, but like many people, I find it annoying wrapping my head around issues like those above indicated possibilities, so I bought the Sangean DT200X.

Other Thoughts: Radio stations have to be within range to be heard, but everyone knows that fact.
