Great product! Keep away from drunks

Pros: Great product, works as advertised. accurate Voice recognition.

Cons: Magnet not strong enough for fridge-slamming drunks. You might want to put it up when you have company over....

Other Thoughts: My brother in law was over on night and slammed the fridge. Smartshopper fell off and died. He asked how much it cost, and I told him...His comment was "you should call them, the magnet isn't strong enough. Yeah right.

Pros: We have this mounted (with built-in magnet) to our fridge.When we run out of something you push the button and add it to the list.When printed the list is organized by category (dairy, meat etc.)Voice recognition is as good or better than most cell phones.

Cons: Does not do the shopping.

Other Thoughts: You can add items not in the 2,500 item list.

Pros: Will be a large help keeping up with the grocery needs.
It is much easier making a run to the store with a list
rather than having to call home to see what I forgot.
No more running around the grocery store with a cellphone to my ear.

Cons: A little trouble with voice reconition but buy speaking a few different ways I was able to find an acceptable method.

Wow! This thing has come down a lot in price!

Pros: Invaluable! Seriously... I never have to look for pen and paper or even worry about my last-minute handwriting looking ledgible to my wife. If we're out of milk, I press a button and "ding... milk"... It's added.

Cons: Doesn't always recognize what you're saying. Fortunately, you can add to the list and you can "train" it to help understand you better.

Other Thoughts: I bought the SmartShopper more than TWO YEARS ago at full price and I STILL don't regret it.

Pros: does what it says, sometimes has a hard time understanding what you are telling it.

Cons: none, make a shopping list and print ist out

Features	Thermal Printer The unit uses a built-in thermal printer which does not require any ink cartridges! The unit comes with three thermal paper rolls and replacements are readily available. LCD Screen The large LCD Screen shows the items that have already been input into the unit in alphabetical order. The on-screen list is easy to read, with a 9 point font size. Batteries The unit operates on 4 standard AA batteries. These are easy to replace when necessary, accessed by an easy opening door on the back of the unit. Size of Device The SmartShopper unit is a compact 7.5" x 4.0" and is only 1.25" thick. Materials The unit is made out of a durable, hard plastic with a brushed aluminum front.
