The Tripp Lite B125-150 HDMI Over Dual Cat5/6 Extender delivers peak video performance by HDMI-enabled digital video components, assuring that you enjoy the crystal-clear picture and full, rich sound. It automatically equalizes and compensates for deteriorating signals over long distances in order to extend a clear signal across distances beyond the HDMI 16-ft. (5-meter) limitation. It supports resolutions of up to 1080p (24Hz), and is HDCP-compliant. An AC power supply is included for powering the remote unit.

The Smart Solution for Home Theater and A/V Applications The B125-150 can be used to connect HDMI-enabled HDTV display devices (such as HDTVs, plasma displays, LCD TVs and projectors) to HDMI-enabled digital video sources (such as digital set-top boxes, DVD/DVD-R players and AV receivers). Without an HDMI connection, you'd need three video connections for high-definition video and six audio connections for high-resolution audio.
Greater Distance—Greater Flexibility The Tripp Lite HDMI Over Dual Cat5/6 Extender allows extension of an HDMI signal beyond the 16-ft. (5-meter) distance limitation. The B125-150 can extend a 1080p/24Hz resolution up to 115 ft., a 720p/24Hz resolution up to 196 ft., and a 480p/24Hz resolution up to 230 ft.
Ultimate Digital Video and Sound Quality The B125-150 HDMI Over Dual Cat5/6 Extender creates a pure digital connection between HDMI-enabled digital video components, with video resolution up to 1080p. The extender provides fully automatic equalization up to 40dB and also eliminates equipment noise in the viewing environment, assuring high definition sound quality.
LEDs Indicate Signal Status The remote unit has two status LEDs for signal transmission assurance. A green LED indicates that the unit is receiving power and a red LED indicates when the unit is not receiving a working signal.

Gives a great picture paired with our projector. Still working 2+ years later! Cons: Having to terminate your own Cat5e cables! Not really a con. Other Thoughts: We did a church installation of sound and video and utilized the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824116467 for our video source. Mounting this projector in the old, high ceiling church meant we could not get close enough to the video source for an HDMI run. Overall we have around 85 feet from our sound/video booth to the projector. Had fun running the cables through the attic (I guess you would call it that) in the old church (built 1928). There was probably around 12ft of head room in there! Could be another storey for the building! They really overbuilt things back then...built for keeps! Did you find this review helpful?
