Pros: The speakers deliver truly remarkable sound for clarity and distinction, and the amount of power to deliver that sound is minimal. They can produce very loud sound without distortion; they set up very easily, and they are solidly built. Having read the reviews, I surveyed the number of system, and these can be used as surround to complement a larger theater system, or they can be used as I have, as twin surround sound without subwoofer. I couldn't be more pleased.

Cons: I haven't had them long; I'm trusting that I can say without hesitation that I'm very pleased /w my purchase.

Other Thoughts: Newegg was even more amazing with this order than many in the past. I completed my order about 3:45pm, and I had them in my home, set up and listening to them about 24 hours later. The service is truly remarkable.

Setup: be sure to have 16-gauge wire for setup. No wire comes in the package, but be sure to order with these or shop locally for it.

I didn't want a subwoofer, and I wanted simple sound to play music and eventually to hook to the television. These speakers met my needs quite well; I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again. It was well worth the price to me.

Pros: Looks great and sounds great. These speakers really improved my home audio. The sound is not directional, it spreads out from both sides of the speakers and really fills the room. I use them with PC games and it really added a lot of depth. I had some old sony speakers that were good but these are a major improvement. Highly recommend.

Cons: none. Price is high but the quality is too.

Other Thoughts: Audio quality is debatable from one person to another. But in my case, I have noticed that the sound field is very diffuse with theses speakers. My ears cannot locate the speaker, I just hear the sound coming from all over (in the case of rear sounds that is). Perfect for surround speakers.

Pros: These speakers sound amazing! They light up my living room compared to the all-in-one box surround sound system I had previously.

Cons: Very large. I've discovered that if you want loud quality sound that you need fairly large speakers. These surprised me when I opened the box. But the sound is worth it.
