5 out of 5 eggsShocking

Pros: Very clear Highs and Mids. Impressive bass for such a small speaker. Sounds much bigger then they are.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Use the b-20's as surrounds in my 7.1. They sound amazing. Not muddy. Nice soft Highs. Of Course if your planning on using them as your main front speakers a sub would be mandatory, as with any book shelf speaker this size. Have hooked the b-20's up as my main front's to show friends how amazing they sound. They never disappoint or fail to get a "wow".

4 out of 5 eggsKlipsch B-20

Pros: Excellent sound quality when positioned directly in front of you. Decent bass response with very clear mids and highs. Not quite as bright of highs as I'd like, but still excellent sounding.

Cons: I purchased these speakers to provide ambient noise by playing music in a different room from where my home theater is set up. When the speakers are facing you directly, they sound very good, but they try to pump out too much bass to be used for ambient music. All you wind up hearing is muddy sound drowned out by overpowering mids and lows. This is the only reason I took off an egg.

Other Thoughts: I decided to use these Klipsch B-20 bookshelf speakers as my front left/right speakers in my home theater, and moved two speakers from my Energy Take Classic system to another room for the ambient music. Worked out well in the end.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent value

Pros: I'm using these as the surrounds in a 5.1 setup. They are significantly cleaner sounding than the Polk's in the same price range.

Overall, these are an excellent value.

Cons: The Klipsch Reference series are nicer, but out of the price range I was willing to spend.

Other Thoughts: Don't expect these to work with your typical lightweight speaker stands. These are heavy and require a pretty solid stand. The typical "holds up to 5 or 10 pounds" stands are designed for little home theater in a box speakers.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Best sound quality human ears can hear. Directionality aside, 320kbs properly mixed audio played through these speakers is no different from sounds in real life.

Four of these spaced properly in a 5.1 surround system would be a godly home theater system and being a klipsch product, they will certainly last forever. My old pair of klipsch's is going on 10 years old and sound exactly the same.

Comes with rubber footies to elevate them slightly and for grip, I only put two on the front ends of mine, to angle them up slightly towards my head.

Cons: Size. I have a couple of these but they are a few inches taller and wider and I was expecting the same, though being lazy I did not bother to measure. For almost 300 dollars you expect a bit bigger speakers than these.

Other Thoughts: I got these on sale, no way I would pay close to 300 dollars for them. But you definitely get the quality you are looking for. I have these as my front left and front right with a pair of Denon satellites as my left and right and a 100 watt 10 inch sub.

5 out of 5 eggsYou can't beat Klipsch

Pros: I'm comparing these to my yamaha speakers and I shouldn't be, There's no comparison! these have great mids and high and you might even say some bass. I bought these on sale for 139.99, now if i were to do it again, I'd buy the F-20 when they are on sale for 150.00, the floor design version.

Cons: None so far

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing sound quality at an amazing price

Pros: Far more bass than I thought they would have judging by the specs. They handle bass much better than other speakers in the 300-600/pair range.

The highs are incredible. Loud, clear, efficient. By far the best bargain in the lower level of the high-end audio market.

Cons: A bit heavy and large for some applications (check dimensions and weight). This seems to be the sacrifice for the deepness in the low notes, but size doesn't matter as much for my application.

Other Thoughts: I have B20 pair set up as stereo speakers with a small Lepai amp (20 watts RMS/channel) instead of standard computer speakers. The sound quality of these is far better than any computer speakers I have ever heard. I don't need a sub, either. they sound amazing with movies and even better with music. I have the privilege of living near numerous high-end audio retailers, and I compared these directly to other speakers in the $300-800 /pair prices range- brands like Difinitive, MartinLogan, etc.). These simply had a better sound to them for the club/pop/accoustic music I tested with. The bass really make the sale, though. The MartinLogans dropped off fast, and the Difinitive speakers held on for a while, but these took the cake and ran with it. I prefer the clarity and detail in the high end frequencies delivered by the horn tweeters as well. These also have a higher sensitivity and far higher power-handling than their competitors as well. Listening to them in person made it clear that the Klipsch were the ones to have. And at a sale price, they simply cannot be beaten. I strongly recommend these speakers, and several of my friends have identical setups after hearing mine. :)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Speaker for surround

Pros: Easy setup
Clear sound
Incredible punch

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Thought to be a decent surround but after watching several blu rays I noticed these B-20's have way more to them than meets the ear. Incredible punch from just 5.25" speakers and crystal clear highs. Definitely a good bang for the buck.

4 out of 5 eggsYears later still kicking

Pros: Good deal when they are on sale. I've had my pair for a few years now and they haven't had any issues. These are good mid range sounding speakers. I've put them through hell with Ableton. the bass isn't low enough, need something that can handle 40hz. But these put out great sound considering their size and limitations.

Cons: Only 60hz, you will need a sub if you want to get the kick. The highs aren't exceptional either, unless you have an equalizer.

Other Thoughts: I don't remember spending 280 on these years ago, that seems steep.
