Terrestrial Digital's DB2 multi-directional antenna has a spectacular 11.4dB gain and will pull in signals from multiple directions so you don't need to stick a rotator on your mast and re-tune it every time you change channels. The large grid also helps for signals coming from long distances including those from up to 30 miles away.

The open mesh design has minimal wind resistance and is good for mounting on tall masts. Due to its compact size you can mount the DB2 indoors or out. Plus, the mesh and bow-tie design is very efficient so you need fewer elements keeping the weight down to only 2.8 pounds.

  • newegg High Performance HDTV Antenna Offering a powerful 11.4dB gain, the Terrestrial Digital DB2 delivers exceptional performance on HDTV reception across the entire UHF spectrum.
  • newegg Low Profile Design Originally-designed for outdoor use, the low profile Terrestrial Digital DB2 is also effective for indoor and attic use in areas reasonably close to the transmitter.

3 out of 5 eggsNot as good as Terk

Pros: Smaller than expected.

Cons: Box says outdoor antenna. Few mounting options for interior install.

Other Thoughts: Thought this would be better than Terk Boomerand antenna but it's isn't. Note that the part of the antenna that looks like a bakers rack is actually the reflector for the actual bowtie antennae.

3 out of 5 eggsrabbit ears beat this

Pros: it does pull in hd channels

Probably better suited for outside mounting.

Cons: inside this just doesn't get the job done. my amplified rabbit ears get channels this doesn't. If you live in a apt, outside mounting is not a option.

Other Thoughts: I have yet to find a really good digital antenna that beats my old amplified rabbit ears. My guess is digital antenna's are a myth. Where the good reviews come from on this one can only guess. I've seen the results for myself, and I know for certain they just don't perform up to manufacturers claims.

I'd like to thank the US congress and the FCC for making 60 dollar per month basic cable tv my only option.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Although this a directional antenna, it operates as if it's omnidirectional. (No adjustments needed, with broadcast towers spread out over a 250 degree range.) No amp needed. Small frame.

Cons: none. It picks up the 2 VHF broadcasts in my location, despite being a UHF antenna.

Other Thoughts: I have been using OTA for 10 years now out in the suburbs. I have tried out many different types of indoor antennas. For the past 5 years I settled on an indoor HDTV RCA amplified UHF/VHF antenna, my champion... it has now been defeated, amazingly.

The DB2 receives all the channels my previous antenna got, (which was expected), as well as a few more I didn't know existed. I switched back to my RCA to see if I could get those unknown channels, but could not. (I even looked up the channels to get the broadcast station's location so that my directional RCA could hone in on the signal. Fail!) The DB2 performs very well, and has no amplifier. (saves energy)

I was very pleased with my RCA, but since it was a directional antenna, (I was getting tired of making adjustments here and there for particular channels), I decided to try the DB2 out after reading all the great reviews on it. Now I get more channels, and have not had to get up once to make an adjustment.

I'm very impres

4 out of 5 eggsExceptional Antenna

Pros: Exceptional reception and stability of signal.

Cons: No included method for mounting (very simple tripid-style stand would have been great). Coax patch cable not included

Other Thoughts: With much deliberation and reading, I decided to get this antenna. I am very glad I did. I get all channels available in my area without any interruptions of service after proper positioning. I have tried around 7 different antennas from my area, including the most expensive available at B&M stores like target and sears, none of them came even remotely close to the performance of this one. Also, some reviews complain of UHF only, saying that channels in the 7 range do not have any reception. This is absolutely untrue. I nearly didn't give this antenna a chance for fear of this, because 90% of what I watch is in the 7 range, it's PBS here. I've never gotten a more solid signal on all of the 7 channels than with this antenna. I've since bought a box of coax cable and a signal amplifier/splitter and am servicing 3 TV's with this antenna, getting completely solid signal on all channels as if I subscribed to cable or satellite.

2 out of 5 eggsYour mileage may vary!

Pros: Lots of 5 star reviews!

Cons: Not sure why there were so many great reviews. I followed antennaweb's directions for pointing and locating and only pulled in 2 of 13 stations. I then bought a $14 antenna locally, mounted it in the exact same spot and got all 13?

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Compact and well constructed.

Cons: Only slightly better than rabbit ears.

Other Thoughts: I ended up building a "coat hanger" style antenna as found on the internet out of pvc and #10 copper wire and found it to work better.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works way better than the rabbit ears from local store.

I'm using this antenna indoors attached to a scrap piece of 2x4 about 7" off the floor leaning against the wall.
Looks silly but it works great.

Media center reports full signal on all channels.

Two stations are VHF. 9 and 13 and I have no signal issues with this antenna. These stations are < 10 miles away from me though.

13 has audio out of sync but I don't think the antenna is causing that. Audio is slightly ahead of the video so I blame media center for that.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: This is part of my new media PC to switch from satellite to OTA.
Eventually this antenna will be outside (replacing my dish using same cable) and I expect better performance at that time.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Antenna

Pros: Very Nice! Make sure to understand how to hook it up to the house.

Cons: Configuration can be frustrating at times understanding the barriers that inhibit signal and grounding issues.

Other Thoughts: This antenna is good for someone who is not too far away from the city. Make sure to look at the websites that dictates how far each tower is from your antenna. Direction also matters. This can be used indoors as well but it cuts down on the reception.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome bang/buck

Pros: Excellent antenna. Mounted on outside of house above roof lines but below tree lines. Great reception from about 25 miles away from nearest towers.

Cons: None. It Just Works.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Antenna for the Attic

Pros: Small size makes for multiple mounting options. Works great once adjusted properly.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This antenna replaced two different sets of rabbit ears. I put it in my attic and plugged it into the amplifier that splits out to five other "cable" jacks throughout the house. My Tivo HD and a USB tv tuner on a computer, and a standard set-top-box all work great and pickup channels within a 60 mile radius. I'm very pleased with this antenna.
