Cons: Don't be fooled by the low price and gold plating on this cable; it is manufactured badly. It does not work at all on my new Blu-Ray player nor my old DVD player. It never worked for me at all. I got the short cable to be a neat hook up from my wife's monitor to her new computer. While I was waiting for this cable to arrive in the mail, I used a longer HDMI cable I had laying around, and everything worked fine. However, when I connect the monitor with this Nippon Labs "Premium" (hah!) cable, the wireless mouse gets a jumpy pointer. When I switch back to the other cable it is fine. I've tried it a few times with the same results. Other Thoughts: Now I have to decide what to do since I paid only five bucks. On the one hand, is it worth the $$ to bother? Other Thoughts: At the risk of restating the obvious, it is a 3-foot cable. Mine has 34.2" of wire between the connectors, the connectors are each about 1.8" long overall. By the time you put a gentle 90-degree bend on each end of it, the actual maximum length is 32". Use this for a DVD player or desktop PC sitting under your monitor, or a tower PC sitting on the desk beside the monitor. If your PC is under your desk, get a 6' model.
