2 out of 5 eggsNo go

Pros: Installs easily

Cons: Will not support a 22 inch Samsung SyncMaster. Monitor keeps dropping down no matter how hard I tighten the bolts .

Other Thoughts: Fixed the problem with a 10 mm piece of wood.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what you'd think

Pros: Good price, Seems decently sturdy. Easy to install. Comes with all hardware to put it right up. Had my monitor up in about 10 mins. Even has little rubber covers for the bolts. And who doesn't love "anti-rusty" paint?

Cons: Can't think of any

Other Thoughts: Went right up on the wall and seems sturdy enough. Probably would hold it's rated weight, but if you try it, make sure you use those anchors or find a stud. Does the job. Can't complain. Left the bolt for the left and right movement slightly loose and now I can move the monitor from right to left depending on what side of my work bench I'm working on.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price, but light duty

Pros: Cheap, mounting hardware included, simple adjustments.

Cons: You have to really tighten the adjustment bolts for these to hold their position and not slowly droop. It only takes a tiny bit of slip in the joints to equal one monitor being very far out of alignment to the others.

The adjustment/tilt joints don't have any perforation or grip material so they slip very easily with the slick plastic against painted metal. Perhaps a small piece of rubber in the joint would help the joint lock up easier. I had to tighten the joints to the point where I'm afraid the bolt is about to strip and it doesn't appear to droop anymore.

Not a big deal and for the price it's rather expected. I'm using rather light weight LED monitors, and I wouldn't trust these to hold much more weight (certainly not the rated 35lbs) without having to constantly re-adjust them.

Other Thoughts: Good buy for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Works like I need it. Perfect for both work station and screens. Bought two for tens dollars each, great buy.

Cons: A little flimsy but since I've set the Monitors to the angle I need them their fine.

5 out of 5 eggsSeems to be working great!

Pros: - Light weight
- All necessary hardware included
- Comes with a specific wrench to loosen/tighten the swivel and tilt "anchor" points
- Very easy installation

Cons: None that I can think of really. It is quite tight when trying to adjust the swivel / tilt features, but easily solved with the included wrench.

Although not really necessary, but there are no installation instructions really. There are a couple pictures on the outside of the box, but I was hoping for some insight on whether it has to be mounted on a stud or not.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these mounts. One for a 20 inch TV and one for a 24 inch TV. I have only had a chance to mount the 20 inch with this mount and so far it seems to be working great. I was a little worried about its durability because it does not say whether you need to mount it to a wall stud or not. Using the provided wall anchors for the screws, I went ahead and mounted the TV between studs and it seems to be pretty sturdy, even with the weight of the TV. I can easily tilt and swivel without feeling like I am about to pull the mount out of the drywall, hahah.

My only other recommendation is to be careful when installing the wall anchors for the screws (if you use them). I was able to gently pound / tap them in the wall (after drilling the pilot holes) with a hammer, but two of them started to flatten / "smash in" the more I tried to tap them in. So, I put a screw in them and tapped on the screw to push the anchors further into the drywall. Then, I pulled the screws out and mounted the TV mount. Now we are channel surfing and saving dresser space in the bedroom!
