3 out of 5 eggsPretty good, despite the widely observed problems

Pros: Fairly easy to install, especially since most of the assembly goes on the back of the TV and can then be lifted onto place on the wall mount. The extending and rotating arms are nice features. Overall, it seems to hold my 37" TV quite solidly.

Cons: As many other reviewers have noted, there are two primary issues: cheap screws and bad instructions.

I wish I'd gone to the hardware store instead of using the included screws to attach the bracket to the wall, since now I'm stuck with screws that are totally stripped, some of which aren't completely scr***d in [sorry, Newegg censorship], and it's hard to see how I'd remove the thing without ripping the wall apart. I did at least manage to install it enough to be functional, though.

The instructions I got were terrible--the English was fine, but they completely omitted an essential step needed to make the mount fit the screw holes in my TV. A tip about this, though: check at levelmount.com, there are some PDFs there that are much better than what was packaged with my equipment.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great !

Pros: Very adjustable, versatile and strong. Actual mount to wall is separate plate with a groove that attaches to wall WITHOUT all the weight of the tv and adjustable part of mount. The rest is assembled on the back of the TV. Then you just slide the installed assemble onto the plate and lock it down. Great design, quality and functionality for the price.

Cons: Instructions are rough to follow and there are many bolts you won't need for your tv but once you get past that it's a great mount.

Other Thoughts: The total mounted depth (with no pan or tilt) is about 4.25" which is probably the same distance you would get with the base attached.

3 out of 5 eggsMount Sceptre 40" LCD TV

Pros: This is solid with many adjustments. It is compact enough to be hidden behind the TV. It was easy to install. Reasonable price.

Cons: The TV can be rotated to keep the TV level but it moves to easy. If you bump the TV or it is not balanced you will be constantly leveling the TV.
The cord management consists of a finger that you can run the cords behind.

Other Thoughts: I have it extended all the way which measures about 7 1/4" from the wall to the bracket face that mount to the TV. I can't collapse it all the way because I have cords in the way but guess it would be about 3".

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: it works and come with tons of extra nuts and bolts to get the job done.

Cons: none really. see other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: instructions well yah good luck but if you have some knowledge in putting stuff together with out them you'll be fine. and the bracket says 10 to 40 in tv but invoice says 10 to 47 in tv. i'm using it on a 42 vizio thats only 36.6 pounds so i think ill be fine.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Mount

Pros: Solid construction and it seems to be compatible with many different tvs. It comes with a stud finder and a built in level that makes mounting very easy and rock solid.

I mounted my 42" LCD on it and I get a great range of motion.

Cons: The instructions aren't very thorough.

A couple of the bolts are difficult to thread. I ended up stripping one and had to go to the hardware store to replace it.

Other Thoughts: You only need a philips head screwdriver to assemble the mount. However, you really need a drill to mount it to the wall.

5 out of 5 eggssolid product

Pros: very solid design, holds up to 75 lbs, swings left and right, has a level bubble on the wall mount to level the mount,

Cons: would have been better if it came away from the wall further on the arm

5 out of 5 eggsEasy Install. Amazing value.

Pros: rock solid. very easy install, will come off the wall just as easy. The mount comes with a built in level AND a stud finder.

Cons: I didn't trust the 3/8 inch screws for the wall. so I went out and purchased some high test ones at a local hardware store.

Other Thoughts: on a 32" Samsung the top mountain will show. I had to use a hacksaw and dremel to get the metal burs off. took 10 extra minutes, but was aesthetically well worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsA very secure mount

Pros: A very solid mount that's easy to install. Four (4) articulating arms that have an almost infinite amount of adjustment and a rigid center core adjustment with tilt and pan adjustments.

Cons: I replaced the mounting screws (which I mounted with open exposure of the rear) with machine bolts, with washers. In my application, it just seemed stronger. The mount screws are extremely aggresive, I just went with a larger holding area.

Other Thoughts: My TV, at 42 pounds, didn't even phase this mount. I hung a 100 pounds in weight on the mount (before installing the television) and the mount handled it very well.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The package had everything I needed except for the drywall anchors, and I wasn't expecting to find those inside anyway. There was more hardware in the box than any one installer would need. The box even came with a small stud finder; I was certainly not expecting that. The arms adjust over a very wide range of motion, and fit my TV mounting holes . When I first installed it, the TV looked crooked, but I found that that was adjustable too. It looks perfect up on my wall.

Cons: The English instructions were in Engrish. However, there were a lot of pictures, so that wasn't so bad.

Other Thoughts: If I had a second TV, I would definitely buy another one of these.
