5 out of 5 eggsGraeat Antenna

Pros: This Antenna was easy to assemble, very sturdy once it is up and works like a charm. Im out in the country ad more than 60 miles from the stations and I can get crystal clear HD.
Way cheaper here at New Egg than the Antennas direct website.

Cons: not 360 degree - but will get signal from stations in front and back. Just stations out to the side are a no go.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HDTV Antenna!!

Pros: I've been using this antenna for awhile now and couldn't be happier with the way it works. I'm about 35 to 40 miles from a large metropolitan area and I'm pulling in over 25 digital (most in HD) channels. Got rid of my expensive cable bill and watching most of my fave cable shows online on my HTPC that I built (with parts from Newegg, of course).

Cons: none (well I did buy it awhile back and got it cheaper than it is now)

Other Thoughts: If you are looking to get a good HDTV terrestial antenna - look no further!

5 out of 5 eggs100 mi. range easy if clear line

Pros: With a clear line of sight it picks up stations with respectable broadcast power at 100 miles. It is very easy to assembly. For the most part you just point it at the far signals you want and any direction will work for the local stations. It is small and still powerful, so you can put it just about anywhere.

Cons: Not really a con since I knew going in, but if you have more than one direction for over 30 mile signals, you probably do have to turn it even with clear line of sight, unless they are in exact opposition to each other, then probably up to 40 or 50 miles. That's expected though. Again not a con since it is obvious going in, but I can't pick up one close signal because of how much is obstructing the signal, but that is a known factor because of where I live.

Other Thoughts: Review topography and signal strength relative to where you are. You can check strength at your zip code at dtv.gov, but add about 15%-20% to whatever they say (topography can change that somewhat. They are figuring their signal radius off of a lesser antenna. They also have dot maps of losses and gains in reception since transition to dtv. That is a bit more helpful in terms of what you will actually receive, but still add some to it because this is a great antenna. If you check this out, you will probably be able to determine if you pick up the stations for which you would be buying this.

3 out of 5 eggsNice antenna

Pros: Purchased for less somewhere else.

Cons: Expensive compared to most antennas. Works well but is highly directional. A rotator is mandatory equipment. A set of rabbit ears on the TV actually works just as well in a rural area and is easier to rotate when needed. Requires assembly, ears are vinyl coated metal which attach to wire which attaches to pole (not supplied) by bracket.
