Previous reviewer must have gotten a defective one because mine works as advertised with none of the faults he had on his unit, Cons: Considering the low price, I have no complaints. Pros: * Cheap * Nice looking case * Easy setup * Good video picture * HD upconversion * HDMI output (not tested) * USB input * Memory card input (not tested) * Multiple format support (not tested) * Karaoke with mic (not tested) * Audio CD ripping (not tested) Cons: * Cheap * Video played from USB very jerky with audio sync way off * Audio not properly synced to video played from DVD * Terrible remote control * No front panel controls (remote must be used) * Not supported by universal remotes * Short power cord * Poor quality input jacks * Flimsy disc tray * Protective plastic film difficult to remove * No HDMI or component cables (only composite) Other Thoughts: Ordered primarily for USB & memory card input, HDMI output. Looked great on paper, but performed very badly. Remote control easily the worst I've ever seen. My USB flash drive is fast, so that wasn't an issue. My DVD plays perfectly on other DVD players.
