- Pros: Nice big working area, good response
- Cons: mouse......is useless......
- Other Thoughts: I would've bought it without the mouse, and now I have a mouse sitting in my drawer that only works on the tablet.....
making it a wireless mouse with a laser would've been so much more useful.
Cheap, Effective, and great for anyone wanting to try a tablet
- Pros: + The tablet has a large area to write/draw in
+ Numerous programmable clickable buttons on the tablet + Works fine in Windows Vista + Very affordable for anyone wanting to try tablets + (Depending how you feel) The pen is pretty thick and works well with my hands
- Cons: - Pen buttons feel a little cheap
- USB Cord (for tablet) isn't exceptionally long - Mouse is tiny and not all that useful
- Other Thoughts: I am an absolute amateur at tablets, as this is my first one, so I can't compare it to others. I do know, however, that it is very cheap, and the writable area is quite large. The pressure can take a bit of tweaking to get just right, and it still seems like I have to press a touch harder than I would think when using GIMP (not sure about other programs), but it isn't anything too crazy.
Don't expect magic out of this - if you can't draw well (like myself =), it isn't going to magically fix it, but it does allow most people to draw more effectively than with a standard mouse. You can also leave your mouse and keyboard in, if you are more used to using certain shortcuts and the like, but the tablet has 13 buttons for commonly used things (save, copy, paste, undo, etc.), as well as 16 additional buttons, all which can be defined for whatever you want - whether it be to launch certain programs or press particular keys.
All in all, I am enjoying the tablet, and I definitely recommend
Finally
- Pros: Responsive...great art tool and makes photo editing a snap now...ample quick launch tabs if you have the patience to program them in.
- Cons: None as of now...it took a while for manufacturer to update drivers. Use to prevent system from booting until unplugged.
- Other Thoughts: It collected dust for some time, but now it gets the usage I had originally hope for
