This review is from: Acer Veriton Desktop Computer - Intel Core i3 i3-2130 3.40 GHz
Pros: I required Windows 7 and this machine with it (getting harder to find these days as they move towards Windows 8). The machine didn't come with any bloatware or other useless pre-installed software; Acer is nice enough to prompt you for what to install. Came with a handy VGA-to-DVI adapter so that I could use it with my older monitor right away. Case is nice and small and the fans are quiet. Has audio jacks on front and back. Has USB 3.0 jacks on front and back. Plenty of power for office tasks, web browsing, etc., which is exactly what I was looking for; if I wanted a gaming machine, I would have looked in a completely different class of machines. I was looking for a Core i3 processor-- not too much power, but not too little-- and I've been very pleased with this machine. All in all, a great value for your money.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Last year, I bought a Dell laptop with similar specs for the same price. It's just interesting how competitive laptops have become to desktops in terms of power and price, compared to say, 5 or 10 years ago. But this time I needed a desktop, and I have no regrets about this Acer Veriton machine.
