5 out of 5 eggsAlong with a Real PC it can't be beat

Pros: Great design. Can't believe what it's capable of. Wish it had been fully developed and realized, but with a good computer attached to it and the touchscreen enabled (doh-that long USB cable that looks like the one to about any cellphone .once attached. enables the touchscreen for a PC) Great resolution..Works with MOGA! Gameplay isn't Horrible but ..it is what it is.

Cons: Slow Cortex-9 processor. Should have had an S4 320 Pro or better. Came with a dead HDMI cable

Other Thoughts: Not sure if it actually makes phone calls, but that would be cool (Skype or others don't seem to connect)

1 out of 5 eggsnon-responsive touch

Pros: It sounded cool

Cons: It doesn't work! Powered on and stuck at language selection with NO method to proceed. I should know better than to purchase something if there is even one DOA or early fail review.

Other Thoughts: I had high hopes for this unit. Acer comes up with some innovative devices but they often seem a bit unfinished.

3 out of 5 eggsNice unit for what it does

Pros: Nice "portable" unit, can be used as a monitor, runs Android 4.0, mountable, screen resolution viewable and works as advertised

Cons: OB speakers low quality, not enough memory, doesn't support app orientation, lag running some apps

2 out of 5 eggsTwo many failures

Pros: Good screen resoultion. Stock Android with access to the Play store

Cons: The touch screen failed on the first unit I received within a week. Newegg completed a RMA and the second unit stopped booting after two weeks.

Other Thoughts: I have had to send the second unit back to Acer for warranty repair. I really want this to work but am disappointed with the quality of the "new in box" units.

1 out of 5 eggsterribly slow

Pros: Interesting format for an android device. Android shows lots of potential on this large of a screen and something like google maps or shopping/browsing would be great on this large touchscreen. I thought it would make a great wallmount computer for the kitchen.

Cons: Terribly slow and choppy. I'm shocked that it is this bad with 1+GHz and 1GB. I'm guessing it is overtaxed with rendering the screen, but the cortex CPU only seems to appear in low-end android devices, so using it here is just bad design.

The netflix app is unusable for browsing, chrome takes far too long to scroll. Maps registers spurious touches when trying to pinch zoom. Several parts of the interface suffer from responding seconds after input, often leading to unintended touches.

The system reset itself several times, but this might be the fault of the included acer mouse+keyboard (which are not well integrated into android e.g. the pause button won't pause netflix.) Wake from sleep with the keyboard takes several seconds.

Other Thoughts: Wish it had a tegra or something that could handle this much graphics output. It could even be a bit smaller and more expensive given the pricing on 10in tablets. As it is, I can't imagine anybody being patient enough to use this (I once had a linux desktop with 256MB ram and 300MHz pentium III with a 21in CRT that was snappier than this, but that had a real (if only 8MB) graphics card.)

4 out of 5 eggsLove it, wish it were Jelly Bean

Pros: HDMI input, great color and brightness (overall great screen), great viewing angle, very well designed wireless keyboard even if you don't need it. Strong wifi reception. Thin! 1/3 the thickness of my less-smart Acer PC monitors. Can be rooted if you're into that.

Cons: A bit sluggish in UI, ICS instead of JB - that's why one star knocked off. Two point multi-touch instead of 5 or 10. Doesn't have a traditional monitor stand. Kind of heavy compared to a regular monitor due to the touch screen glass.

Other Thoughts: Don't think of it as a big tablet, think of it as a smart display you hang on the wall or set on the kitchen counter. There are so many things you can do with this - media client, wall mounted digital picture frame, uPNP renderer, mirror, streaming video such as Netflix, game system, home personal fitness system, home automation, video conferencing, and more. It just takes some imagination! This works great in tight places where you don't need a full PC but want to consume Internet or media. You don't have to use the keyboard and mouse either. I'm wall-mounting mine.
