5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: Love this PC bought it at the end of 2013 and it is till destroying everything I throw at it. I will play games like dying light on high graphics while watching Netflix on my second monitor. still running strong, haven't had to change out any parts.

Cons: Windows 8

3 out of 5 eggsMy "New Experience"

Pros: Pretty fast little machine that was worth the $900 i spent when i bought it. was discounted pretty good and i was in need of a new PC....However

Cons: 1. I bought a 250 gb SSd card thinking i was going to transfer my windows OS on it and use the main HDD as storage...Big mistake - This PC doesn't come with it's own copy of windows (OEM only) so if I want to do what I had planned i ned to cough up some more $$ for the Windows

2. 12 Pin 500W PSU. Not a single mention in the Specs about this. Imagine my surprise today when i tried swapping my GTX 760 Video Card + Seasonic 620 PSU for the old ones. I am now forced to wait 2 weeks more for a 12 pin -> 24 Pin Adapter from Friggin Hong Kong because i couldn't find one in good ol' USA...2 eggs down just for that inconvenience.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am satisfied with the product....I wouldn't however reccomend this to anyone that wants to get a pre-built in the hopes he could customize it/upgrade it later. Too much of a hassle due to the lack of info and Acer's lame 12pin PSU setup

1 out of 5 eggsBad Service

Pros: Worked very well for a while

Cons: When it fell apart the video had issues and ethernet port didnt work. You have to mail it to Texas for repair, no other options. You pay to ship it there no matter where you live even though the warranty says "carry in".
After 2 weeks it came back from repair with a defective heatsink fan and they replaced my GTX 760 TI card with the regular OEM card. All the repair paperwork said was "Mainboard Changed"

Other Thoughts: Will be out of a PC for 1 month at no fault of my own. Had a $400 HP that lasted for 4 years ... dont buy acer products.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent Gaming Rig for the Price!

Pros: Bought this system during a sale when it was $849.99, the price does seem to jump... a lot. Beyond that after owning it for 6 months and playing various games on it, I have come to the conclusion that this system is not to bad at all for what I paid for it. Its far from top notch, but its better then most similarly priced systems out there. It runs demanding MMOs and games like Star Wars the Old Republic, Star Trek Online, Starcraft 2. Simcity 2013, and Civilization V just to name several with little if any struggle, even with high to max settings.

GPU while less powerful then a standard 2 GB GTX 760, still gets the job done in terms of graphics and frame rates for all but the very most demanding of games. It's also quite and only mildly noisy when being heavy taxed or there's a lot going on in the screen, but otherwise it is mostly quiet.

Set up was easy. Most of it all Plug and Play. Note you still need to buy a separate monitor elsewhere as one is not included. Just a mouse and keyboard. Windows 8 does take some getting used too if your used to XP or 7, but its not too bad especially once you upgrade to 8.1 which is free and easy to do.

Cons: On some more 'processor' heavy games like Supreme Ruler (series), or Geo-political Simulator Series games, the processor fan can get quite noisy and also generate a good deal of heat, meaning ventilation isn't the greatest, but I haven't had problems with overheating yet. Still keep this puppy on top of the desk if possible so it can better ventilate, and make sure the room is well ventilated with a ceiling or box fan on nearby while running intensive programs.

The only other real con of this system is the lack of upgrade potential. Limited PSU of only 500 Watts is low for a gaming rig, so upgrading to anything higher then a GTX 770 is going to lead to power issues. Also like most Acer systems it uses a special hard to find 20 peg connection making upgrading the modest PSU to something more substantial almost impossible. So if your looking to buy this system with the intent to upgrade it later, then It might be best to steer clear.

Other Thoughts: In a nutshell for a entry to intermediate level gamer like myself that's on a budget I highly recommend this system, but if your looking to upgrade later, or want a system that you can 'grow up' with meaning last you many years; then this likely isn't your best option. However, provided you don't get a system Dead on Arrival, then you'll have a decent pretty reliable little rig that will last you a few years before becoming too obsolete. (2-4 years depending on type of games/programs you play) I gave 5 eggs despite the couple of cons, because your getting exactly what it says, and the system is running good so far.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT DEAL

Pros: Fast! Powerful Processor and Graphic Card! Great for gaming!

Cons: Non that I have run into yet. Memory was only 8g but I got another cheap 8g memory which did not hurt my wallet.

Other Thoughts: For the price. This is a wonderful gaming computer. Playing Fully Modded 2k-4k Skyrim, Full Graphic Guild Wars 2 with no Lag, Diablo 3, ESO and all these while running other things in the back ground. This computer is great for the price. Defiantly a good by for anyone wanting a very nice gaming computer. Ya there are better but the prices go up and this works great.

5 out of 5 eggsFANTASTIC PC! Recant Bad review, does not pertain to PC

Pros: Sorry for my previous review, which was not accurate. The Power Supply (COOLMAX CTI-500B 500W) was a different purchase and it DIED in A WEEK!
This Computer is A Great computer! Does everything I needed and more. Super Quiet! No issues!! Power Supply HAS NO ISSUES! For the cost of this rig and all that was included (in a pre-built system) it has made me a very satisfied customer and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM TO ANYONE! Especially Gamers!

Cons: Only Con, is the flimsy headphone holder door on the front, feels very cheaply made. Afraid it'll snap just by closing it and pushing too hard.

1 out of 5 eggsPower Supply DEAD IN A WEEK

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Within a week power supply put out burning smell and failed. I gave this product the benefit of the doubt due to the reasonable cost and mail in rebate. Pretty sad when the product is Dead before the rebate is received by customer. BEWARE THIS ITEM IS A PIECE OF TRASH! DO NOT WASTE EVEN $1 ON THIS! SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND BUY ANY OTHER POWER SUPPLY!!!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Computer

Pros: Well built machine, very fast. Can easily run all of my games and programs that I've tried so far on maximum settings/graphics. Have not had one issue with the computer so far after owning it a couple weeks now.

Cons: Wish the graphics card was the normal 760 2GB instead of the 1.5GB, but it doesn't seem to effect any game play so far.
Other than that I really don't have many cons about the components. I think the headphone holder is unnecessary and mouse/keyboard is a bit cheap though.

Other Thoughts: If you are a gamer and don't have a huge budget or just don't want to spend so much, this is your machine. It's the best I found for the price, highly recommend.

Open slots for RAM and HD upgrades

Cons: None, really.

Other Thoughts: This is a great setup. The case is really well-designed, components are great... It's an all-round great product. I have zero buyer's regret.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking fine for me

Pros: Computer is quiet, easy set up right out of the box. Am playing WoW on ultra settings with 98fps and 34ms latency. Got Battlefield 4 with it and playing it with no issues at all. I went from Win XP to Win 8 with this and its not hard to figure out. No problems at all so far.

Cons: Price jumps around on this rig a bit, set up a price alert to save a few $$.

Other Thoughts: I am enjoying it very much. Surfing web, watching videos, movies with no problems. Playing WoW has never been as crisp and clear and fast. Be sure to get a micro SD that is OVER 16 GB for back up protection. ( I bought a 16 MB but its only about 14 GB of storage).
