Decent PC
- Pros: The IQ506 has a great touchscreen which I find very useful in every day tasks. Computer is ok hardware wise. Love the design, the computer has built in wire management on the back of the PC so you do not have a mess of wires everywhere.
- Cons: Hardware is not upgradeable. I have had several people tell me you can upgrade the graphics card, ect, but it is built in :( Not ideal for intense gaming. HP support is not very helpful when you need to send your PC in for repair.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this touchsmart a few months ago and I have had to send it in for repair 3 times. HP support replaces parts that are not even tied to the problem. It would have been fixed if they had just replaced a single part instead of avoiding it.
Fun little machine
- Pros: Slick look, clean interface, small footprint.
- Cons: Not especially speedy.
- Other Thoughts: Nice little box, doesn't try to do too much. Excellent for a kitchen table-top machine.
Good Computer for What It Does
- Pros: This PC is very cool. First and foremost, its a great big 22" touchscreen PC that mimics an iPhone quite well. It has its own mini-os that pulls up pictures, music and movies at the tips of your fingers. It is a great entertainment computer to show off.
- Cons: It kinda has a plastic screen that does not have the smoothness of an iPhone. It also has a difficult time recognizing some touches using just Vista, but they'll work out the kinks in Windows 7.
- Other Thoughts: Please don't compare this computer to a build-your-own desktop. I could build a supercomputer for the price of this one. It's the touchscreen that sets it apart from the rest.
