5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Tons of RAM and hard drive space, DVD drive, room to expand, helpful sat up, and and AMASING quad core

Cons: Takes a long time to start up windows for a quad core

Other Thoughts: saved the LCD monitor and speakers from my previous eMachine. You cant beat this price most gaming computers don't have this level of proformance and they cost $1,000 to $1500.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Very responsive, 8GB of RAM, 64 bit Vista, and decent video card, very nice case with a small footprint, almost completely silent, HP pocket media drive bay is a very nice option. Runs all my 32 bit games and software with any problems. All my printers had drivers available for 64 bit Vista. All the hardware is recognized by Linux.

Cons: Hyper Transport 1 (Phenom x4 9750 supports HT 3), Takes forever to boot (but once it is up and running it is fast), High memory timings, to much junk software install by HP.

Other Thoughts: I replaced my old Athlon XP 2800+ system with this and the performance differences is like a yugo vs porsche. You can play Crysis at medium settings.

5 out of 5 eggsA Great Product for a Excellent Price.

Pros: There are many good things about this PC. It's quiet, sleek, and Fast - 8 GIGS OF RAM, and AMD QUAD CORE -. The SATA HDD installed is made by Seagate, it functions quickly and quietly. The memory installed is made by Samsung. The RAM could always be upgraded for something else if you fancy a certain brand. Video card is an ATI Radeon HD 3650 512 MB memory, and looks great playing games, AND Supports dual screens, there's even an HDMI port that will support HD monitors or TV's. The installed fans are equally as quiet over the video card and PSU. Operation is quiet smooth when using Photo Shop or other resource intensive programs. I even played a DVD on one screen while playing a 3D game on the other screen with NO slowdowns. The case isn't too large, and fits nicely on or under a desk. If you want to open it up to add anything, it is super easy to do so. It doesn't mention in the specs, but there is also an IDE channel available on the board.

Cons: There's a blinking blue LED on the front of the case that can be distracting at times. Not really a con. Can
only install one more additional HDD to the interior, BUT, the case does have two personal drive slots meaning you can slide HP drives into them. They are pricey though. External drives solve this most the time.
Take Note There is no 56k Data/Fax modem on this machine. You have to install one yourself if you need it. The NEXXTECH 56k PCI Data/Fax V.92 Works great with vista and this board. Can be had for about 11.00 at your local tech store if they carry it.

Other Thoughts: Could have a bigger PSU, only carries a 350W - also it only has one additional free SATA power plug. The rest are molex. BUT, you can buy an adapter here on newegg that turns molex's into SATA plugs. There are FOUR SATA channels on the board, two are used by the already installed HDD and DVD drive. The board is an "ECS Nettle3 V:2.2" On board Audio is by Realtek. It sounds pretty decent.

If you're looking for a machine with alot of room, and room to expand for a great price. This is it. 8 GB of RAM, 750 GB of HDD space, and a Quad Core AMD... How could you go wrong!
