5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Low profile, small space on entertainment system is needed, and it is still powerful enough to do what I bought it for. Makes a great little media player for your TV system and the remote handheld mouse\keyboard is very slick. Works well. Of course you could get a standard wireless mouse and keyboard to use with this PC, but the remote is actually more than enough for browsing the internet and other tasks.

Cons: None

3 out of 5 eggsLenovo Q180

Pros: Very small footprint. Meets expectations now...

Cons: Had to troubleshoot it out of the box to be satisfied with it. Out of the box the default power setting are "blaanced". I was experiencing a lot of frustration with this unit but I believe I will be happy with it now. The unit would not completely shutdown, go to sleep and not wake back up, seemed slow and unresponsive...I changed the power setting to full performance and it seems to be functioning to my expectations now.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to replace my standard size desktop with a very small footprint unit and this mounts on the back of my monitor. I am a basic user so I have not tried the theater operations of the unit. I did install the additional 2GB of RAM myself and it was easy. I would have given the unit a 4 star rating if the power save options worked properly and I did not get so frustrated trying to troubleshoot it. But it looks like I will be happy now.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: These little things are awesome. The way you use it can really affect your rating of it though, so be mindful of what this unit was meant for. For a bedroom that has a tv with HDMI, this PC is perfect. Just two cables (power and HDMI) and you're ready to go. You can stream media from another computer then surf the web with the wireless remote.
For a user who only uses it for small tasks, it works great. MS Office and other common apps run great on it.
Also, it has four threads! It's a dual-core Atom with Hyper Threading enabled so if you have to encode or use other multi-threaded apps this unit should handle it with ease.

Cons: Only two gripes, but not big ones. No rear audio port. No biggie since I use the HDMI anyway, but it's nice to have that option in case I may need it one day. And 2: Not sure how to take this thing apart. I was interested in swapping out the HD with a solid state to make it blaze, but it feels like it's going to break every time I try. I can't find the screws that hold it together. Albeit I only tried for a few minutes and haven't even checked online to see if there's a how-to guide. I just hoped it would be easy. It's not meant to be taken apart anyway so it's not really a true con I guess.

Other Thoughts: Overall it's a great unit depending on how you're going to use it. Obviously it's not mean for intensive tasks and the hard disk may be a bottleneck if you open more than 1 hard disk intensive program, but use it correctly and you will get loads of use out of it.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, great

Pros: Tiny, supports VESA mounting, discrete video. Not all TVs have VESA mounting options but the included stand is well weighted so it won't slide around.

Cons: no rear audio ports - one of my older flat panels has DVI but no HDMI. I used a USB audio adapter to work around.

Other Thoughts: Reloaded with Windows Ulimate from a WDS server. I needed to inject the latest Realtek drivers. I used the latest ATI drivers for video/HDMI audio. No problems with DVD ISOs, VOBs, XviDs, etc. with VLC. Hulu and Youtube have been flawless. I haven't tried Blu-ray ISOs with PowerDVD yet but given the Radeon, I don't expect issues.
