5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fantastic HTPC box. Throw XBMC on it and you're ready to rock. Worked great out of the box.

Cons: Only con is that the blue LED light is a bit bright when you're watching a movie in the dark. But really not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: DISABLE THE SCREENSAVER AS SOON AS YOU TURN IT ON. It's a product demo for Lenovo, and it is the loudest thing ever put on a computer.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect little machine

Pros: Small size, pretty quick processing speed

Cons: lags in the data transfer

Other Thoughts: If you're looking a great little computer for either lite daily tasks or for Home Media player this is your guy. While some of the input ports could have been placed on the back instead of the front you can't beat all you get for the money. Now I have the problem of wanting to buy another one for another room.

2 out of 5 eggsA step down from the Acer Revo

Pros: Small; great controller

Cons: Noisy & prone to overheating; web browsing can be painful even with Chrome.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had bought a cheap laptop instead. Right now I am typing on a two year old Inspiron 1545 that runs circles around my Q150 Ion. My Revo isn't a web browsing champ either but at least it's quiet & has never shut down due to overheating. A year and a half I would have given three eggs but right now you can do much better.

1 out of 5 eggsThis is a piece of junk!

Pros: It connects to your network and will actually display your desktop on your remote TV. It now sits idle, kind of like a statue warning "buyer beware", in my component cabinet.

Cons: My first one was DOA . . . kudos to NewEgg, replacement was not a problem. However, had I realized what a piece of junk this thing is I would have fought for a refund. Video playback, especially over a network, is next to worthless. It stutters through everything you try to play. I found it impossible to properly size my desktop to the TV screen. No matter what I tried, the icons for close, start, were barely on the screen. The only way they could be accessed was with patience, a steady hand and good luck. The keypad/trackball is so small, it is practically worthless . . . takes forever to enter any meaningful commands. First thing I did was get a LogiTech wireless KB. W7 recognized the KB but, unfortunately, that did not solve any other problem.

Other Thoughts: I guess I now understand why NewEgg had a "no refund" policy on this item. I have always found NE to be very consumer oriented but somebody dropped the ball on this item.

5 out of 5 eggsSmall and clutter free.

Pros: Small, remote sized keyboard, perfect for watching Hulu or streaming movies and keeping Itunes. Sound travels through the HDMI. This little unit takes up no space in the living room on a bookshelf under my TV. It is absolutely silent and uses almost no power at all. Can stay on all the time.

Cons: When watching Hulu or movies there is a small skip in the beginning as the shows buffer. As a hardcore HTPC this may be a little light, but for watching everyday shows on Hulu and an occasional movie or Itunes. You cant beat this little guy.

Other Thoughts: There is now a version that uses the AMD APU that costs the same and has a better graphics chip using a radeon 6310 integrated in the small APU. It may us a little more power however. They both are great little units.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little XBMC box

Pros: This is a tiny beast of a machine. Decent performance and connectivity and an awesome controller. It's the perfect XBMC box.

Cons: If I had to pick anything it would be a lack of Function keys on the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Don't be confused when you set it up. There's a removable wireless dongle in the battery compartment that plugs into the PC.

5 out of 5 eggsQ150

Pros: Small, cheap and relatively powerful. I have 9 of these and they are wonderful

Cons: Not all that repairable.

Other Thoughts: Setting up WOL is quirky, but do-able. (you have to tweak ethernet card settings in device manager).
