Pros: - It's a really powerful PC. I have yet to come across something that it has difficulty handling. I put in a average end graphics card (GeForce GT 640) and it boosted the graphics index rating from 4.6 to 7.1. It can play all the latest games at decent graphics settings with no problem. I have Dota 2 running at about 100 FPS, The Sims 3 at around 60, and Portal 2 at around 60.
- Not too much bloatware. I uninstalled the McAfee thing and also the power control switch app (you can read why in the Cons section). I also uninstalled the weird screensaver.
- The case is pretty, fans are quiet (I can leave it on during the night and sleep fine with it on), and it is indeed easy to upgrade.
- It came with Windows 7, even when most other computers were shipping with Windows 8. That was important for me since I'm not a fan of Windows 8 on a desktop.

Cons: - The power supply that came with it was pretty weak (280W). If you want to upgrade to a decent graphics card you will also need a new power supply.
- When I was changing the power supply, there was a strange connector inside that the default power supply could connect to but my new one could not. Like one of the other reviewers said, it is for the lights at the bottom and also the switch thingy. I don't use the power control switch or the lights so I was fine just not connecting that to my new PSU.
- On the topic of the power control switch: I'm not really sure if that thing does anything at all besides change the light colors. I played some games at the different settings and couldn't notice a difference. Plus, the application that came with the computer to handle the power control switch functions was really buggy and it crashed all the time. I googled that problem and people reported weird side effects from that app crashing, and also said it was safe to just uninstall it, so that is what I did and I don't regret it.
- I can hear strange noises when I have headphones plugged in. I think it's noises from inside the computer. But it's not noticeable when programs are making sounds.

Pros: Neat looking case.
Colored LED lights and speed control switch.
Excellent performance (CPU rated 7.4, RAM rated 7.6, gaming graphics 5.8 in the Windows Performance Index)
Runs cool and quiet, even under load
No bloatware installed!!! Only had to uninstall McAfee trial and load Microsoft Security Essentials to be all set.
Boots up in ~30 seconds or less.

Cons: Proprietary connector on the stock PSU to control the CPU speed switch/front LED lights. Makes it very difficult to upgrade to PSU/Graphics. [Reason why it lost 1 egg in the rating].

Other Thoughts: Bought it with the intention of upgrading the PSU so I could upgrade the graphics. The connector on the LiteOn 280W power supply that comes with it is labeled "P9" and is a 5V 3-pin connector; a lot like a standard fan connector, but made nonstandard by Lenovo. Any other non-Lenovo power supply does not have this connector. Leaving this connector off unpowered means you loose not only the front LED light (green/red/blue), but you loose the ability to control the CPU's power scheme (Cool, Turbo, and Auto). It becomes stuck on Auto, which means the CPU clock speed varies between 1.5GHz and 3.2GHz. Turbo sets it to always be at 3.2GHz. Cool set it to almost always be at 1.5GHz.

Anyway, to regain this control and LEDs, I picked up an ATX molex 4-pin male to 3-pin female cable, cut the vertical plastic guides off the 3-pin end, and re-wired it so that black-wires went to black-wires and red-wires went to re-wires. The re-wire is extremely important. Hooked it up and now I've got a 650W power supply in this unit and dedicated graphics (rated 6.9 on Windows Experience Index).

Pros: During Black Friday the price was down to $449, quite a steal considering the component specs, i5, 2tb drive, and 8 gigs of ram @ 1600. Even at $699 it's still at a very competitive price. As people before me have stated, the rig doesn't come with much bloatware which was a pleasant surprise. Also, newer Lenovo desktops are starting to ship with Windows 8, if you're looking for a comfortable rig that still packs Windows 7, this is it. Wifi and HDMI are also added bonuses.

Cons: No real complaints from me. Default screensaver is a Lenovo marketing video. Make sure you change it before blasting blasting your tunes.

Other Thoughts: People have complained about the power supply and on-board graphics, but at this price point you shouldn't really expect an elite gaming rig. Both are upgraded reasonably cheap and you can still turn this into a respectable gaming rig for sub -$1000. Bottom line, you're going to be hard pressed to find a system comparable to this at this price. If it's on sale, don't hesitate.

Pros: For $450, I doubt you could do much better finding a comparable computer or building one yourself. It's very capable for most purposes as-is, but if you increased the memory and add in a video card you've got yourself an excellent machine. Be careful as you may need to increase your power supply if you do this.

There were only two things I needed to uninstall at boot. It's not full of bloatware.

Cons: The description is a bit misleading and it almost prevented me from buying it had I not done my own research. The details say that the maximum memory supported is 8GB. That is not true. It has a 64-bit Home Premium OS and 2 RAM slots meaning that it can handle 16GB (2x8). I immediately swapped them with G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL which was on sale and had zero problems with the system recognizing it. Dedicated 10GB to Minecraft and was good-to-go.

Other Thoughts: If I was in the market to replace my main rig, instead of building from scratch like I normally do I would definitely buy this system and upgrade components. I'm not sure I'll make much use of them, but the swappable HDD and Turbo switch are nice additions. And, honestly, the case looks pretty dang sweet for one of these stock computers. The carrying handle on the top is quite nice and the unit isn't heavy making it a nice portable server (if you don't want to get a mini computer).

Great price at $450 during the Black Friday sale. Bought this guy to replace an old SR1430NX running on XP and a Pentium 4 with 2GB DDR2 ram. Needless to say, this was a great improvement

Out of the box, it booted right up when connected.

Cons: No Graphics card :p
Cable management was kind of meh, had to rearrange cables to fit my 500GB HDD drive in there.
one of the pins up top is a 3 pin connector(just 2 inside it though), so I'll have to buy a molex to 3 pin connector in order to put my Corsair 430 in there

Other Thoughts: Will probably be buying a graphics card for it in the near future as well as a molex-3pin connector so i can put my 430W PSU in there

Pros: Awsome computer for this price you cant find better Intel equipped, for AMD lovers look at other lenovo desktops.
Paid 450 shipped to my house cant find better deal computer is fast and equipped with more than pleanty of tech for average user.

Cons: NO blueray player but you shouldnt expect that for this price
power supply only 280W but other companies went as low as 170W. For games update powersupply and add a graphic card probablly another $150 to $200 on top of this cost.

Pros: none

Cons: Won't even work.

Other Thoughts: It sucks to spend that kind of money, wait a week for a new computer and then have the hassle of returning it!

-Mine came with Intel HD 3000 since i bought at a diff retailer, But, even that is AMAZING, TF2 at 1080p at High-ultra averages 35-50 FPS, And CS: GO at 720 & high is at 40fps steady @ all maps. However, I WILL be upgrading, see Extra Thoughts.
-Plenty of space to upgrade, within limits of course.

Cons: -PSU, this thing is BAD, for the price of $650 i expected better than 280 watt PSU, I would have hoped for 350 - 400 at least :/ oh well, I have found a pretty good GPU upgrade for it, see Extra thoughts
-CPU throttle, dont use, just leave in Auto and your set.
-Wiring, it is a little unorganized inside, but i plan to remedy that.

Other Thoughts: For those that need a little extra "oomph" on their games, buy an AMD 7750, It wont overload your PSU, requires no extrnal Power as it has no 6 pin connectors and it will play MOST games at medium-high, while i have yet to test, I imagine that 60 FPS on BF3 at 720 & med settings is possible
