Computer recommended by friend...
- Pros: This computer is pretty fast compared to the computers I'm used to using. More than enough hard drive space for all my music, and movies. my wife loves the card reader on it. easy set up. would recommend to anyone.
- Cons: only thing i was hoping for was when i bought it windows 7 came out. i was hoping they would upgrade to windows 7, im sure they will in the future.
Good macheine
- Pros: Very good machine... Shipping was quick, it came in one piece, everything started up well and was off to the races... Sleek and nice looking haven't taken it apart yet so disassembly review is TBD.
- Cons: As with almost all pre-built units this thing is loaded with filler and free trials so that's no fun but easily taken care of. The other thing is that there were no disks that came with it. It doesn't cost anything at all to burn a couple back-up dvd's but it takes an hour or so to do myself. i would have been willing to spend an extra few dollars for this to be done for me... just takes up time.
- Other Thoughts: Almost called newegg because it wouldn't start up at first... Oops my fault... My plug outlet was faulty! Can't you do everything for my newegg?!? ha ha ha
Great gaming possibilities!
- Pros: Great system! Intel Q8300 quad processor is very fast with 6gb ddr3 ram which has twice the bandwith of ddr2 and has better heat dissipation. If you are looking for an all around great computer look no further, best bang for the buck...just look at all this comes with and you would be hard pressed to find a better system for the price, trust me I have done a ton of research.
For the gamer this will make a smokin fast gaming PC as this system has a great base to build up with, but you will have to add some hardware. 1# Corsair 650 watt power supply(comes with 300Watt)
2#Nvidea Bfg gts 250 oc graphics card.
3# Added 2 80mm case fans.
4#Have a blast on one screamin pc with not much work.
Check the benchmarks this setup is better than most homebuilt gamer pcs. I build my own and this was a better option less headach.
- Cons: Hard drive is loud, as long as you put this computer down below your desk you cannot hear it much,but this is one of the louder harddrives I have heard, going to switch it out for a Hitachi hdd instead of this Seagate which it comes with, I never liked Seagate hdds anyway.
- Other Thoughts: Great system to upgrade into a screamin gaming PC.
