1 out of 5 eggsjunk

Pros: Big hard drive, 1 tb.

Cons: No case fan. I wish I would have seen these other reviews before I used mine for so long. I put it in an enclosed desk compartment & it got so hot that everything went wrong with it. You could cook an egg in there.
Processor died.
Video card died.
Power supply died.
Motherboard died.

Other Thoughts: I am buying a Dell.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very fast processor and video card, wireless card added bonus, media center remote is included, quiet, not a lot of bloatware, Windows 7 works well

Cons: No case fan, but an easy fix. Wireless card does not offer "N" wireless for better multimedia streaming.

Other Thoughts: I took the advice of the other reviewers and bought a case fan along with the computer and haven't had any problems with overheating. Also did not have any problems with my wireless card on start up. Couldn't build as good of a PC for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsAddition

Pros: see first review

Cons: see first review

Other Thoughts: If you look at the pictures on this site, you'll notice that the video card does have a fan on it, but it does not vent properly. The fan points straight down at the TV Tuner, and there is no way to rearrange the cards to let this vent. This will cause the computer to overheat. Running with a case fan has fixed this, but if you run a program (like SpeedFan) and notice that your GPU is very hot (62-65C/140-150F) this is the reason why.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Great processor, a s load of memory, a lot of video memory. TV Tuner and Wireless card are great ad ons, saved you about 75 in aftermarket parts. Not too much bloatware - only had to uninstall a few programs (Nero, Norton, Windows Live - stuff the average person might even want to keep)

Cons: The wireless card didn't work at first. You have to go into the case and remove and reinsert the card... Kind of weird but my system recognizes it now. After I started my computer up after doing this I got the blue screen of death, but everything seems to be running swimmingly now.

Other Thoughts: Like the other reviewer said, it's probably a good idea to buy a case fan for this baby. There not to expensive and easy to install. Windows 7 runs great so far - it's like the genetically engineered version of Vista. If this thing went on sale $50 or so it would be a sure buy.

5 out of 5 eggsYou might want to know

Pros: Incredibly fast, gigantic hard drive, excessive RAM, and sleek case design.

Cons: It runs very very hot. Why? There is no box fan included. I spoke to Gateway Tech Support, and there is not supposed to be a box fan, only a CPU fan and a power supply fan.
The wireless card didn't work at first, but I just had to re insert it into the PCI Slot and it works just fine now.

Other Thoughts: This computer will do nearly everything you need, is pretty cheap, and looks stylish. The two biggest issues I've had are as follows:
1) the fan. Fans are cheap, so it's no big deal. Make sure to order a box fan when you order this, they are less than $5 here at newegg. You might want another one for the CPU also, if you plan to overclock.
2) Fun fact about the video card. It has 1GB RAM on the card itself, but the system gives it access to 3GB of system RAM when necessary. Hasn't been a problem for me (even using Adobe products) so it shouldn't be a big deal unless you're doing a lot of gaming.
