Pros: All the specs for a very low price. Good video card, quad processor, 8gb ram, 1TB hard drive.
Cons: Power supply is very basic. Was not able to install old dvd burner because it didn't have have appropriate power cords. Would have been nice to have Win 7 preinstalled but you can get a free upgrade through Gateway.
Other Thoughts: With the spec I was expecting a faster cpu. I upgraded from an AMD Dual Core with 4gb and I can't tell the difference in speed.

Pros: This PC is a huge bargain for the price, it comes with a huge amount of RAM for the price and a pretty good sized hard drive, and a decent processor I really have nothing major to say bad about this machine, just recently purchased for my mother and it is ridiculously over-powered for what she does, I have a dual boot configuration between the pre installed win vista and ubuntu karmic and everything runs flawlessly. Thinking of getting one for myself as this PC would make a great development machine.
Cons: only minor cons, peripherals are kind of cheap feeling but work. Speakers are complete trash, just throw these away. In this PC's defense however I've never seen a PC come with good peripherals I guess this is where manufacturers try to save money. As mentioned above, yeah it has DDR2 memory. If you are in the 600 dollar price range you're not going to notice the difference between DDR2 and DDR3 if you want a gaming rig go spend 2000-3000 alienware has some real nice ones they'll be happy to sell you :-)
Other Thoughts: fast shipping, ordered on a thursday received the following monday mid afternoon, as usual newegg didn't let me down.

Pros: Comes loaded.. real video card, wireless card, tv tuner, media card reader, including MicroSD. Gigabit NIC. Also has onboard ATI 3200. Plenty of video ports.
Cons: DDR2 RAM? Yeah.. it's not DDR-3, but it's a Phenom chip.
Other Thoughts: I put Windows 7 on here and it works great. Plenty of RAM for all sorts of stuff. Great package deal. The case is.. 'different' but not that bad. I'm still skeptical about the MicroSD drive.
