5 out of 5 eggsCorrection to earlier review

Pros: I warned to watch your monitor choice but gave the wrong info. It is VGA and HDMI. I had stated that it was VGA and Display Port. There is no DVI port.

Cons: Nothing worth mentioning.

5 out of 5 eggsNice, small computer

Pros: Good performance. Windows Experience Index - 5.1. Sufficient USB ports (6 in back). I've seen as few as 2 USB ports on the back of small form factor computers. Watch your monitor hook up. This is VGA or display port only. No DVI or HDMI.

Cons: Extra software that Gateway includes. Some may want it, it's generally just a waste of time and drive space.

2 out of 5 eggsOne Flaw

Pros: All the Bells and Whistles you could want. Almost too many 2.0 USBs. HDMI, 6 RAM, etc, etc,,

Cons: Only 2 USB 3.0 and they are in back. However the deal breaker, ( I sent mine back ) is the 225 watt Power Supply, I cant believe I missed that, mostly because a less than 300 watt PC is unbelievable and blows the mind, in this day and age.

Other Thoughts: Install a bigger power source and hope it doesnt fry the mother board.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome.

Pros: Great price (399.99 Right now.)
Decent Processor.
Decent Graphics Card.
PLENTY of Memory.
Lots of RAM and can fit up to 16 GB of DDR3 RAM. Niice.
Comes with Game and Movie and Music Burner. ( Nero Programs.)
Windows 7 Is very easy to use and Has no Problems with Games.
Graphics Card is actually a good Integrated one (crazy, I know.) and runs most games on medium settings with a good fps. Not too laggy at all.
This is a steal for the Price right now. No way you could build a computer this good for 400 bucks. It even comes with a wireless capability and an HDMI slot in the back, which DEFINITELY comes in Handy!
I use it for Gaming and it actually works great. If I put a better graphics card in it with a bigger PSU and another stick of RAM it would be a beast. Only problem is the Processor is a little slow but hey, it's a freakin Quad-Core at least!

Cons: Small PSU.
Small Case.
Graphics Card inside of it is the strongest that will run on that small PSU.
You would need to buy a better PSU and set it on the outside of the case, because the inside is too small to fit a bigger PSU, if you want to upgrade the Graphics Card. The graphics card in it is Integrated not a Stand Alone.

Other Thoughts: Buy this if it is still 399.99 if you are into gaming or if you are into surfing the web or pretty much anything else. I've had no problems with it and it does come with some pretty sweet programs on it but also some stupid programs that you just delete. Nero is included.
I use it for gaming, it's not a powerhouse but it gets the job done on medium setting on almost every game. I can't stand to play laggy games and it is definitely not too laggy during 95% of games that I play.
If you are just now buying a computer that is decent and don't want to spend a grand for a powerhouse, buy this. It is the best deal I've found for months and it works great and even has room for upgrades, the only issue is the PSU which I explained already.
You WILL NOT find a better deal right now for a gaming desktop. I've got it hooked up to my 42 inch LED TV and it works flawlessly.

2 out of 5 eggsBusted so far

Pros: Bought computer at beginning of the month through NewEgg. Worked great for 1 day. Then wouldn't boot- lights on, but no input / output from keyboard, mouse nor monitor. Online support had me ship it back to Texas for repair AT MY EXPENSE.

For the day it worked, it was fast, and seemed to have ample speed, RAM, storage for $400, but adding the $$$ to ship it to them to fix it doesn't help...

Cons: Poor customer support. Gateways used to be great product, now seem like a pile of junk. Should reimburse you for a certain amount when shipping a 2-day old broken product for them to fix !!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Quality

Pros: I am surprised at how well the mouse is made considering the price was $16. I love the LED lights that alternate colors. The sensitivity and side buttons work good and it has a great ergonomic feel. The laser accuracy has been perfect.

Cons: None that I have found.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend thus, you can't beat the price.

1 out of 5 eggsBroken on arrival.

Pros: Bought on sale for $389, seems like a good great deal for the specs: Ample HDD space, sufficient RAM, decent CPU and surprisingly good integrated GPU that would be able to handle most 2012 games on low to medium. And it only weighs 18 pounds.

But the caveat is....

Cons: Computer arrived broken. Doesn't turn on. Nothing, nada.

Customer service leaves alot to be desired, for a brand that used to pride itself on customer service it's even more painfully frustrating to be transferred to what is obviously a small cramped Indian IT support center where the co-workers from across the room are just as audible as the guy you are talking to. To add insult to injury, the repair policy is stupid. There are no local places where you can take your computer for a quick fix, you have to pay for shipping to send it to the repair center in Texas for a process that will take about 2 weeks.
