4 out of 5 eggsDecent beginner PC

Pros: 2.4Ghz. Multimedia ports

Cons: Vista, I guess?

Other Thoughts: The model I bought was the display, so it already had some wear on it from the beginning. Even with Vista being a less desirable Windows OS, I have had no problem that was not to fault of my own.
It is great for browsing, and basic applications. I DID use buy an additional 2Gb DDR2 to keep up with the average game on a lower quality.
I also run Blender, the 3D animation program, on this computer and besides render times, it's great.

3 out of 5 eggsAudio Issues

Pros: Over all seems to be a good PC

Cons: So far the audio has issues. Sounds like we live in a cave. Have tryed speakers & head phones. Same problem.
Pushed every button on the audio icons.
Could also use another PCi slot

5 out of 5 eggsET1161-05

Pros: Purchased the computer from another site, It came with a LE-1640B 2.7ghz processor instead of the 1620 that was listed on the box.

Loads windows fast and has plenty of room for upgrade.

Cons: Open the case and warrenty is done for.

5 out of 5 eggsgood deal

Pros: Great product for the price. All that is needed for an average computer on a desk at home. It allows for upgrades if desired, like a 8600 GTS PCI express video card for less than 50 bucks here at the EGG. I am also thinking of purchasing a dual core 4850 for it cause it is so reasonably priced. Can not put this stock system together for less than 390 even on a good day. What a deal. If you do not need a hard core gaming rig, you can not beat the value. And for another Benjiman you have a very strong rig as good as the Jones.

Cons: I did not purchase from Newegg. I feel guilty......but the upgrades are from here.

Other Thoughts: I have built well over ten custom computers entirely from NewEgg and have ALWAYS been pleased with their prices and products. The price is always higher for customs with the cost of the Operating System expense. Thus I purchased the hole unit for my Daughter and will upgrade with a better processor and VC from the Egg if my daughter needs more for her games. IT still comes out CHEAPER than separate components. What a DEAL!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal for the Money

Pros: Works well right out of the box. I bought it for my mother who is electronically challenged and she can use it with no problem so I am very pleased. The Vista Home Basic is all she needs to write e-mail and surf the web. Great deal for the money.

Cons: I really wish the power supply was a little stronger, like 350 watts. The video cards I have looked at so far all recommend a minimum of 350 watts or higher.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome deal, hands down

Pros: I love this computer, does exactly what is needed for the job. I do a little gaming on the side, and the games i play, it still runs great. Awesome deal for the price! Definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for a decent computer at a low price.

Cons: non so far.

Other Thoughts: I used to tell myself I would never get an e-machines, to tell you the truth, it's made of the same components that every other computer has, and they are also very well put together. Don't let the fact that it is a Wally World brand fool you, because so is Dell. = )

5 out of 5 eggsRuns Great for the price

Pros: CHEAP-CHEAP-CHEAP which aint always a bad thing. 300 bucks for a tower that runs good and gives room for improvement. Rams upgradable to 8 gbs and has pci-e x16 for another video card.

Cons: Power supply is kinda only 250watts. This works good for just minimizing your upgrades but I personally want to add on a geforce 8 series video card and a couple fans and another hard drive. Maybe Im just expecting to much. Cant have your cake and eat it to right.

Other Thoughts: Good deal for the money as long as your not expecting an awesome gaming computer. I plan on upgrading my power supply to a 350watt 4 more gbs of memory , a couple cooling fans and a 8400gs 512 invidia geforce. Im also gonna use my old ide hard drive for extra space. altogether less than 150 so for 450 gonna be happy But without all that I have been content with the computer runs good and does what its supposed to .
