3 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly Capable

Pros: Web browsing, word processing, all that basic stuff is a breeze on this machine. Obviously not a good PC for gaming but is more capable of running games than you might expect. It will run Portal 2 and Dota 2 on medium and low settings. Minecraft very playable medium settings, Pretty much any valve game can be run.

Cons: Can not play HD video smoothly, The Athlon LE-1620 simply isn't capable. Processor is single core. The included HDD is split into 2 patricians which I think is unnecessary. Almost no room for expansion as far as video cards and other PCI devices go, PSU is only 200 watts so upgrading video card is pretty much impossible.

Other Thoughts: Great if you have some spreadsheets to do, obviously very outdated.

5 out of 5 eggsInteresting Fast Enough

Pros: Vista Home Premium costs 225 dollars on newegg. This computer was 250 dollars. And includes home premium.

I bought it to use vista speech recognition. I am happy with that feature.

This computer is faster than i thought it would be.

Cons: No Cons.

Other Thoughts: My goal was to buy the cheapest computer possible with vista. However, this isn't a slow computer.

Is it right for you, that's up to you.

1 out of 5 eggs$300 + with single core cpu?

Pros: this machine might be very cheap to some one.
but i think we over paid this machine due to the slow CPU speed. single core 2.4 GHZ. the builed in video card sound like a good video card but can not play any recently HD pc game because the slow cpu.

Cons: IF i know this is a single core cpu (which is not state from out side the box ) i will never buy this machine. every one can pay $300 get a dual core from dell or othre brand

Other Thoughts: don't buy this one IF u need the machin for PC H.D game.

1 out of 5 eggs******* STAY AWAY ********

Pros: Small & Cute

Cons: Vista Home Premium - does not work with this box
Every Re-boot it "finds" new hardware & takes for ever to load
Hardware cheap - really cheap
Tech support was less than helpful
Would send back if I could.

Other Thoughts: Runs the computing gamut from A-B.
A chance to buy pre-packaged e-waste for the land-fill.

4 out of 5 eggsNice, Affordable HTPC

Pros: Small, EXTREMELY quiet, low power consumption, LOTS of USB ports, HDMI! Vista Premium!

Cons: Graphics are slow (what do you expect with the on-board 8200?), every time I update the NVidia video drivers, all my settings reset. Don't expect to add anything to this internally, there's no room for hardly ANYTHING (unless you find a good low-profile PCIe card). HDMI sound drivers are weird...

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my media server (used to be an old 800MHz frankenstein), and I'm loving it. Since it has HDMI, I plug it directly into my 32" LCD 720p TV in the living room, and hook up my 500G MyBook. It's fast enough to run Aero (barely...) and media center runs smoothly on it. It's no powerhouse, you shouldn't expect it to be. But I must say, it is VERY quiet, I hardly notice it's on. The LED on the power button is a bit bright (I'll probably unplug it). I will warn that the HDMI drivers are weird: there are NVidia HDMI drivers and another set of HDMI sound drivers, but only the NVidia drivers are actually connected to the HDMI port. Just remember this when configuring the sound settings, ONLY use the NVidia sound driver for HDMI!
For the price, this thing is pretty speedy. Though, I must admit when I'm transferring files over the network from my other computers, it maxes out the CPU until it's transferred. I'd still recommend this as a cheap, low-end media PC.
