5 out of 5 eggsDecent PC

Pros: Price was right and it works well for what I got it for.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: 1GB ram made it a little sluggish, upgraded to 2gb and it runs much smoother.

5 out of 5 eggsGret Buy

Pros: As other posters have already stated:
1) It is great for the cost
2) Perfect computer for browsing the internet and doing basic tasks
3) Upgrades can be easily added

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is a great starter computer for individuals who are not:
-Graphically intensive gaming
-Rendering film
-3D Modeling

It comes with a bunch of easily removed bloat-ware and although can run with only one, could use an additional gigabyte of RAM

If you are buying a new computer for your college kid, this is NOT it. I would suggest getting something a bit stronger. Purchase this technically challenged individuals who need to get on the internet / video chat and watch movies.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy!

Pros: If your looking for a computer for your kid in school, or your elderly relative who, you can't beat this computer by HP. I bought this a couple months back for my parents and it's really fast and reliable. The dual core processor handles all tasks that a kid in school can throw at it, plus all the speed for someone who is just looking to surf, shop or what ever on the web.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Make sure you check the specs on this machine before you buy it. The mother board is simple and not much expandable. You can add to the memory, but it's greatly limited on PCI and PCIe ports. Still, it's a great machine for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsNice! Could use more usb

Pros: Very cheap, good quality.
Could use a few more USB Ports on the back (only 4)
Or, it could use some ps/2 ports (some devices we use still require ps/2). Otherwise, solid. We've bought about 15 so far, not a problem with any of them.

Cons: Only 4 usb ports on the back..

4 out of 5 eggsVery good Deal for the money paid

Pros: Very good sound system, Easily and cost effectively expandable. Quiet, and simple desktop system with a lot of potential. Monitor is also a great deal for the price. Not all package deals are both good items, but this one is!

Cons: 1meg of ram is kinda low for Windows 7 system...but it is easily upgraded. I suggest buying more ram when you buy it.

Other Thoughts: Basically you DO get what you pay for and a bit more (monitor is really good). I had no problems (like typical with ordering from New Egg), and was a pleasant experience. This is a great combination deal.

5 out of 5 eggsGood cheap box

Pros: 1) Cheap
2) Works well for surfing, email.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Have hooked up to big screen LCD (46"), added 4 GB memory(39.99), wireless USB(29.99), upgraded video card (HDMI 29.99), wireless keyboard and mouse (29.99) and finally a good webcam (HD 59.99).

So for under $500.00 it's a great addition to the home network.

I have a great setup that can do 90% of my computer "jobs" and can video chat with my family and watch the grandkids in HD on the big screen from my easy chair. It doesn't replace my office computer (smallish hard drive) or the household laptops (mobility) but is a great addition.
