Don't listen to Shonuff
Pros: Awesome quality
Cons: Video card on the weaker side of the spectrum
Other Thoughts: Shonuff is just upset that he can't have a nice rig like this one. He is giving a bad name to this fine product and is a prick.

Had to comment
Pros: I had to toss my hat in the ring seeing the comments from those 2 who do not own the product..... BTW yes I think pretty much everyone knows you can build a desktop for cheaper than you can buy one built already. However for those who meet the following scenarios, this makes a great gaming rig:
Cons: power supply is only 875 which is ok, but when you are buying a premiere brand you expect more than just enough. I would not venture into upgrades later without making 1 a power supply.
Other Thoughts: overall its an alienware, you get the global support/warranty that is missing if you build it yourself and is a pain in the neck to get with some other major gaming rig co's who's name's I will not mention (research customer service/warranty issues on a gaming pc co. before you buy anything!).

What's with the fancy look?
Pros: I don't own this rig, but I own one of their alienware m11x laptop which is now i regret, i shouldn't have bought it. When it comes to fanciness , alienware wins. With its edgy gaming look and all those fancy colors you can customize with it. I give 2 eggs for the looks
Cons: If you are a gamer and wanting to have your own to play decently and having worried financially, I don't recommend this thing, I am a gamer too, I am currently building my own rig and I tell you, I have my PSU, motherboard and Processor for the mean time I spent only like $386.. and I already have 3 parts, I am planning to buy a SSD and having my graphics card under radeon crossfire. I already assumed my total will not exceed $800 , and my Alienware M11x is worth $890+ tax when I bought it last year january 2010.
Other Thoughts: My current Rig:
