It is a grate upgrade from the Celeron 1.1 GHz he had. I got it on the Black Friday Weekend Sale for $269. Cons: I received the package with no mouse. It had the mini tower, Monitor, and Keyboard, but no mouse. Big set back in my opinion. It was a refurbished product, but I expect all the components to be in there nonetheless. Other Thoughts: I wish the all the components where in the box from the begining. Now I have to deal with customer service to get the mouse.
