5 out of 5 eggsGood Workstation, Great Price

Pros: Came with Dell's Warranty
Shipped in New, Original Dell Boxes.
Cheaper than going strait through Dell
Machine is Quiet (as expected)
Preformed Well under Normal Office Conditions, Including Youtube, Hulu and word processing, excel, etc.

Cons: limited Expandability, however to be honest, upgrading the memory to 8GB is fine for "Office-ie" things.
2 HDD bays, which is fine, since were on a domain, and everything important is saved on the server.
Its an OptiPlex and the motherboard (MoBo), Power Supply (PSU) are proprietary so if it goes out, you have to go to dell. But Honestly, with the support/dell warranty, im not afraid.

Other Thoughts: This is a standard workstation for those who use text editors like word, or programs like excel, outlook. Who surf the internet, and do business. The "Pro" packs of Windows 7 is pre installed, and you can upgrade to 8 and use windows update to 8.1 which is time consuming, but you can do it. (Which I did)
Dell is a worldwide and trusted name in Computers, and the STANDARD in business systems. I recommend this system, and if not through this vendor, then an identical one. But this vendor sent the product fast, and in Perfect Working/New condition, as advertised. Thankyou - Speedy Technology Solutions (SpeedyTechSol.com)

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Display port is nice. Able to multi monitor with added PCIx card although probable didn't need it but didn't have a display port adapter.
1 4GB installed but 2 slots total so it'll be easy to add another stick of memory.

Cons: Power supply doesn't support higher end PCIx video card.

Other Thoughts: Simple business desktop.

1 out of 5 eggsProprietary power supply stay away

Pros: Good performance until you need to get it fixed quick

Cons: There is a proprietary power supply and proprietary power connector on system board. You cant just go to any store to purchase a power supply and install it. This is true for all Optiplex 3020.

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid General Purpose PC

Pros: Modern UEFI, gui controlled BIOS
Latest gen intel Core cpu
Room for expandability
Good case build quality.

Cons: Yes the power supply may be propriatary, though through my years ive never found that to be a big snag up for me as replacements for these type units are plentiful and cheap via online auction sites.

Other Thoughts: If your looking for a good standard build PC for your office or home, youve got yourself a top nomination with this unit. Ive been deploying this specific model for my clients about a year now and I havent heard a single complaint yet.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: Seemed like a good PC at a decent price at first.

Cons: HORRIBLE customer service. Terrible interaction with warranty and phone support. Many days of down time because they didn't know how to fix the computer. I ended up hiring an independent computer repair person to fix the problems. I have spent many thousands of dollars on Dell products. I will never spend another penny with Dell. I would never recommend this computer or Dell products to a friend.

Other Thoughts: My recommendation: Stay away from Dell products.

3 out of 5 eggsProprietary power supply and motherboard

Pros: Optiplex are a solid line generally, but...

Cons: This unit has a proprietary power connection on the motherboard. This is unnecessary and Dell should have avoided this technical crippling of the system.

5 out of 5 eggshappy

Pros: I needed a cheap but fast computer for work and this turned out great. Did the express delivery and it was here literally over night. Was super easy and simple to set up and it was good to go instantly. Works great i have no problems or complaints so far and ive had it for over 3 months now. It even runs dota 2 smoothly for when i wanna take a break from work.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: none.

2 out of 5 eggsThis is NOT the solid mid-grade business-class Dell you are looking for...

Pros: 3 Year on-site Dell warranty keeps my customers happy.
Processor is capable.
Looks great.

Cons: ONLY 3 SATA ports on the mobo. There is a place for more, but they cut corners and didn't solder the port on. This is especially bad because you can't have a customer want an internal backup drive, AND 2 DVDRW drives like my customer. I found myself scrambling at the local stores locating a SATA controller card for under $30.

Also the second HDD bay didn't come with the Dell cage adapter. Can't install a secondary HDD properly without it.

I would not have bought this had I know the above two points, and definitely not if I had known about the sub-standard PSU cable. That's right -- the main motherboard power connector is like 8 pins...!?!?

Only 2 slots for RAM. Not a deal breaker, but 16GB is the limit.

Other Thoughts: Since I had to shell out another $30 for more than 3 SATA ports, and will likely be shelling out another $50 for a proprietary PSU in the future, I would have paid $100 more for a better model.

Of course, what is a better model for $600? This was supposed to be the solid mid-range business class Dell...

3 out of 5 eggsdell 3020

Pros: small unit runs well, reasonable price

Cons: main fan is 75% covered by wide sata cable. very poor internal wiring design. RAM slots basically impossible to get to without disassembling power supply

3 out of 5 eggsA decent office workstation with 3 years warranty

Pros: A decent office workstation with 3 years warranty. Windows 7 Pro with 8 Pro license.

Cons: Very cheap construction compare to the Dell 7xxx or 9xxx series. Non-Standard power supply connector. Only 2 DIMM slots. No front USB 3.0 port.
