4 out of 5 eggsGreat deal for the price

Pros: Very small system. DVI output and good general purpose cpu power. Power efficient system. With 21.5in monitor power draw of 51 watts. Includes a new mouse and keyboard.

Although used these had very little to no dust inside. Very clean overall.

Cons: Both systems required new CMOS battery. Bios was A1 on both, upgraded to A16, no big deal.

One has a hard starting cpu fan so every cold boot, after system has been off overnight, must hit F1 to continue then fan starts turning (verified).

I will replace the bad cpu fan soon.

Other Thoughts: Overall pretty satisfied with these. Wish I bought more than 2.

3 out of 5 eggsOnce I got one to work, it is fine

Pros: Very good value for what you get.

Cons: First system came in DOA (lights 4+2 locked on when powered up)...shows to be a memory problem. RMA'd it...second system was received with the incorrect power cord (UGH!). Took weeks to resolve overall with the shipping delays.

Other Thoughts: On the second problem, called Newegg and they worked hard to resolve my problem. I found the power cord on another site and Newegg credited me with the price of the power cord. I am now powered up and online...the bad thing is I had ordered this for a customer on a deadline for end of year accounting and paid the additional cost of faster shipping and priority processing. They ended up getting one from somewhere else so I was stuck with this extra PC...took about a month overall to finally resolve...I would recommend the company that restores these refurbished systems to ensure they have memory that works in them and that they at least power it up with what they ship it with (i.e., power cord)...the quality in these days and times is unacceptable.

1 out of 5 eggsBad fan, broken speaker, missing cable

Pros: Small.

Cons: When the unit was received, it was missing the DVI cable shown in the picture. When started, the machine immediately complained about a bad CPU fan and when I opened it to investigate, the speaker was just flopping around inside the unit as the mount was broken.

2 out of 5 eggsLess than satisfactory

Pros: Chosen for small form factor and basic specs for some general applications. Didn't need a workhorse.

Cons: Continuously shut down. Diagnostics determined a bad memory stick. Since this shipped with 2 GB of RAM, I removed the bad stick and it's been running fine. Paid for 2GB running on 1 for now. Will contact support and update status if applicable.

3 out of 5 eggsComputers are okay. Some needed BIOS updates.

Pros: The computers appear to be clean with only some minor defects due to wear and tear. Good price for a refurbished computer that includes Windows 7 Professional. Some of the computers I received had slightly better cpus and CDRW/DVD combo drives.

Cons: At least two of the computers I received did not display anything until it booted into Windows. I was able to correct this by upgrading the BIOS from A02 to A16. None of the computers came with a video cable or a DVI to VGA adapter.

Other Thoughts: These systems have great value for any person or business that wants to upgrade to a Windows 7 computer without breaking the bank.

1 out of 5 eggsReplacement computer just as bad

Pros: none at this point

Cons: This is the replacement for the first no display piece of junk they sent me. It doesn't display either.

Other Thoughts: Don't order these unless you love doing RMA's

1 out of 5 eggsDont Order

Pros: Its a cheap windows 7 that with said hardware would perform great as an internet grabber

Cons: DOA. No video right out of the box. Had to RMA this and now Im going to have to RMA the RMA for the EXACT SAME REASON.

Other Thoughts: Just to be clear im a 15 year technician and tried everything that a normal person would. It turns on but doesn't display. Thanks for the enormous waste of my time. I love the whole RMA process and repackaging and driving large boxes to the UPS store
