5 out of 5 eggsEfficiently Cheap and Fast

Pros: It's a pretty fast processor.
Loads fast.
The tower is rather light, which is a good thing.
It's also small too (as in height), another good thing.
Discreet so you can sleep in peace.
It's price efficient, don't be fooled by staples' version, that thing may be $100 less but it's not a quad core!

Cons: No HDMI port, dang...
There is a glowing light that runs across the top of the tower near the power button. Also in the back there's a red light coming out, probably the HD but would it kill them to cover it up?
It's AMD, don't expect performing at intel speeds. However it's still rather fast so you might as well disregard it.
The video card that comes with it is not that great. Not the worst but if i had to rate it i would say it's between Average and above average (weird rating but yea right in between there). Rest assured it is still powerful enough to run the majority of games so far in today's world.

Other Thoughts: Right now it seems to be sold out. I'm perfectly satisfied with this product. It's both cheap and gets all of my job done right and fast.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME machine

Pros: Trinity is a beast. The latest Piledriver cores and Radeon HD 7000 together will get you the best feature support (OpenCL) and really awesome mainstream speed.

This thing is able to max out every source game I have without even speeding up the fan a single notch. The 65W power rating may or may not matter, since most 65W chips usually end up around 80 anyways. (The APU is rated at 65W)

The CPU power rivals an i5-2500k in most cases, and sits a bit under the overclockable 77W $220 i5-3570k.

The GPU power is great, and even better when you pair it with a Radeon card. Radeon HD 7670 is not anywhere to be found, but it runs all the same as a 6670. I paired this up with one and the graphics power doubled as expected.

This A10 will be my recommendation for mainstream affordable gaming rigs from now until AMD releases Kaveri APUs in 2013.

Buy this chip for sure, Intel cannot match it. Plus, no worries about a bad graphics card. Only issue is the HDD is a bit slow in HP. Go SSD

Cons: As mentioned, the HDD can be slow. Go for a Crucial M4 or Samsung 830. They are the best on the market for SSDs. HP has great desktops with decent hard drives, but an SSD will make this thing scream.

Other Thoughts: From my experience, HP desktops work nicely and for a long time. Just be sure to remove the bloatware or just reinstall windows for an optimal experience.
