Pros: Works as expected, had to tweak a bit for Linux (this was expected), but once configured works like a charm, can't be beat for the price in my opinion

Pros: Small, silent, reasonably good performance, built-in wifi, plenty of USB ports, eSata port, HDMI, IR receiver, SD reader

Cons: Firmware is total ABYSMAL

Other Thoughts: I can't tell you how much I really WANTED to like these. They had everything I wanted (except functional firmware) for an HTPC platform. I purchased 4 of them (2 at $119 and 2 at $99) - 1 was DOA (due to firmware issues), one died when I delivered it to the customer, and of the two remaining, one is showing signs of dying. That's quite a failure rate, isn't it? Worse yet, the manufacturer's rep will treat like you a noob then... just... stop replying to you.

Pros: * Better than Atom based unit performance wise,
* Being based on an AMD APU is a plus for me. The graphic are better than the base Intel HD Graphics, but not as good as the HD 4000 series.
* Dead silent.
* Very low power.
* Plays casual games fine.
* Streams games in 720px60fps with no issues.
* Plays Blu Ray quality bit streams with no issues.
* Plays nicely with Kodi/XMBC with a PC IR Remote.
* Very cost effective when I bought it.
* Runs Win 7.1, Win 8.1, and Steam OS with no issues.
* Build and install was issue free.

Cons: * This does not seem to be a popular model.
* The current situation may make it less than cost effective.
* Because it is dead silent, it does get warm.

Other Thoughts: I absolutely loved this box. Unfortunately, It fell off my high dresser and broke. Yes, I am an idiot. I cannot replace it because either it is not available, or I don't see the value at the current pricing.

An i3-4010U based solution seems to be the best price performance point at the moment. Too bad, I love AMD.

Pros: Silent, small, quad-core, adequate computing. I put an SSD and 8GB RAM in it. It is cute-sized and effective.

Cons: After adding hardware and software it's obviously more expensive.

Other Thoughts: I'm happy I bought it.
