5 out of 5 eggsGreat computer

Pros: Small, cute, rock solid, budget friendly, newegg delivers fast!! :)

Cons: Low end machine, so might be slow for power users.

Other Thoughts: I love this box. Gave it as a present to my mom and she loves the replacement of a tower size computer with a tiny little thing. :) Also I am using as an all around box at home, connected to a 47 inch TV, adding a bluetooth keyboard/mouse also helps. Anyway, newegg rocks :)

3 out of 5 eggsA not well created toy

Pros: Small, power-saving.

Cons: Wireless N network card is a garbage. I tried different drivers and only one work properly. It took me a lot of time to fine tune the wireless card. My Dell laptop wireless card (54g) is much better than this wireless N card. It is not quiet by comparing with my old HP desktop.

Other Thoughts: To be aware that this toy does not have CD/DVD driver. If you want to install something from CD or DVD you have other way to do it.

5 out of 5 eggsEEE Box - A great kiosk machine

Pros: Small form factor makes it ideal for trade shows. We run several trade booths off of these machines. Everything from attractor loops to kiosks and even as a database server for one of our booths. Being able to bolt these to the back of a monitor was a big selling point for us.

Cons: Hi-Def video is simply not doable on these machines, but that's really expecting too much given the price. Other than that its a good deal.

Other Thoughts: Lots of value for the price on this machine. I'm going to buy one for my niece for the holidays since it makes an ideal first computer for a child.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: Small form factor, easy to use. Seems to run cool and the transformer does not heat up nearly as warm as the Eee Laptop. For basic home computing needs, this is a great option. Loaded an old copy of Office 2003 and using a freeware antivirus. No issues so far. When my desktop finally dies, I would replace it with this and load copy of Kubuntu in a minute.

Cons: None right now. This is not a power users machine.

Other Thoughts: This machine will primarily be used for some Office work and Internet, no games, no software development. I gave it a high rating because it has met all expectations. The other reviews posted by recent buyers were extremely helpful with the purchase of this product.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat i expected..

Pros: Great form factor.. Very small, well designed, quiet, and low power consumption..
i upgraded it to xp pro within 5 min of turning it on...
took about.. 45 min to fully upgrade from xp home.
had all the drivers preloaded so i did not have to reinstalled the drivers but was a little but slow.
i have it on overclock option 3. it runs at 1.75 ghz
pretty decent speeds. i have office 2007 installed.
running of regular office applications are at decent speeds. great little bugger if you ask me..

wireless n works great, gigabit lan is great, form factor is great... i might replace all my office computers with this thing ... only if it didn't have a oc limit but hey ... you can't really cool it much more either

Cons: only cons are not much power is supplied to the usb2 ports from the mobo. so if you have a high power hungry usb 2.0 device such as a external laptop harddrive that uses power from the pc you might have problems with the harddrive as i did..
also no ODD built in .. but don't need it much
too many stickers on the thing... ripped all those out. (but kept them just for warranty sake, dunno if this voided my warranty so don't try this at home kids )

Other Thoughts: great little pc for browsing , word processing .. basic office stuff..

high def flash video playback laggy (on game trailers ) ...

mid res videos @ full screen sluggy ..

but all in all ... i recommend this little beaut to anyone~

just buy one... you get so much more for the price you pay with this thing

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very small and quiet. It mounted easily on the back of my monitor. I use it for basic desktop applications, email internet etc. I haven't seen any problems with speed in these basic apps. I have tried playing back HDTV video files using PowerDVD and have had good results in Windows Media Player. Mostly 1080i, I'm sure that 1080P or bluray won't work. I have also tried 720P x286 .mkv files with less than stellar success. I think all the decoding is done by the cpu and the atom just isn't up to it.

I hooked this up to my Kill-A-Watt and never saw it pull more than 21 watts and ussually idles at 17 to 18.

Cons: Not having a CD drive is a bit of a bother, but, not a deal breaker. I was able to install quickbooks by copying the files from the CD to a USB thumb drive. I imagine this would work for most other software. Most anyone who shops here probably gets all their software via downloads anyway.

Other Thoughts: For the average user this would make a great desktop, everyday PC.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great inexpensive unit. Very quiet, relatively fast, and small (mounts on the back of my LCD display). Build-in web browser boots up fast for internet access. The included Windows XP is fast without the typical add-ons.

Cons: Full screen internet video playback is a little sluggish. Keyboard and Mouse each uses an USB port in the back - leaving only the front USB ports available for printer and external drives. If you are leaving the unit freestanding, it can be unsightly with cover open, wires sticking out in the front and the back of the unit...

Other Thoughts: Great machine for office work and applications.

5 out of 5 eggsCould not be happier

Pros: Small form-factor, sufficient processor for most applications, XP Home for common applications including WMP and support for Netflix. DVI output, SPIF optical audio out, four USB2.0, mounting bracket, mouse keyboard, low power consumption. With the Intel Atom270, there is enough power for most application including DVR functionality. So far, I have had no problems and it's been running since I turned it on. Supports 1920x1200 resolution.

Cons: This it not an appropriate PC for modern, resource-hungry gaming. It will play some games from a few years ago (UT, older NASCAR, etc), but probably not what you're looking for if you want a hard-core gaming PC. I would have liked larger HD, but I can always add more with a USB HD.

Other Thoughts: I use this as a server for my website (Apache), a server for all my music (WMC), network storage/backup device, a media player on my home stereo. I installed realVNC server so I can control it remotely. I have VNC client on my Nokia N800 so I can control the media player from any where around my house and outside. Great for BBQs so I don't have to run to the stereo to adjust volume or select some music. I have it attached to the side of my HDTV so I can watch Netflix in HD using the DVI input. I have an Autumnwave OnAir GT USB HDTV tuner to watch/record HDTV. It does have enough power to be used as a DVR with this tuner. I leave it on all the time since it draws less than 14watts.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks awesome, Im getting one

Pros: Wow, if it can reach the 2048x1536 at 75 Hz maximum resolution possible from the GMA 950 graphic chip and play back media well. This is the perfect box for pet project

Cons: Dont know yet

Other Thoughts: I know this isn't what one would call a review. But I am so hyped on this thing... must have.
