3 out of 5 eggsNo documentation

Pros: Works good

Cons: There was no owner manual and I am not able to find a manual on the ASUS web site. This is a refurbished unit, but there still should be standard documentation od the ASUS site.

5 out of 5 eggsGood deal and lucky

Pros: Compare many other style of All-In-One computer, I like ASUS ET series the best since it has a stand and designed with mixed balck and silver color, it is my style.

The 23-inch screen is amazingly bright and touchable. Win7 home is also great, but I will switch to Ubuntu 12.04 since my work that I'm engaged in.

Cons: There is alight spot on the screen. I think maybe that it is why it was sent back and refurbished. For me it is totally acceptable, since it save me almost $150. Everything else is as new as it had never been used.

i3 due-core and 4GB might be enough for daily use so far, but I hope it could be easier to upgrade, at least memory to 8GB. But I have not checked this yet.

As complained by other buyers, ET2410 has no build in WIFI receiver, but it has been clearly shown in the website specification, so I have nothing to complain. I attached it to my modem via a network wire. It works like a charm and has less radiation.

Other Thoughts: Purolator Ground delievered this to my door after 5 days I paid. It was 4:30pm. I happened to be at home. Usually this is not a good time, but I was lucky.

I have to complain that before the time I received this stuff, the website kept showing: We do not have any informationabout this track number ... Which worried me a little. I chatted with online support, they told me to wait. And then the delievery came to me all of a sudden. need to work on this.

Purolator delievery boy was very gentle and kind, with an charming smile. I donot know his name, but many thanks and good wishes.

3 out of 5 eggsno keyboard

Pros: big screen for the money & free shipping

Cons: screen activates before you actually touch it.
right clicking doesn't always work (hold one finger down and press with another beside it on item)
only recognises 2 fingers as opposed to other "multitouch" screens that do up to 10 or 20 fingers.
SLOW touch tracking, whn rotating or sizing or zooming the screens response lags behind your movements even when done at a resonable pace.

didn't come with advertised keyboard

built in speakers struggle even when on max volume

Other Thoughts: wifi is easily added via a mini pci-e wifi card. after making sure the unit was free of defect i followed a how to on toms hardware forums and added wifi by scavaging a busted laptop, you'll need the antenna and mini pci-e card.
.. comes apart easily with a #2 and #1 philips, along with a credit card to pop the back off.

you'll definitely want to buy stardock's fences 2.0 it's a perfect app for a touch screen computer, the folder portals are the perfect thing.. that and windows media center :)

3 out of 5 eggs2nd times the charm

Pros: This is my second of these AIO's and thank goodness this one works! I found the touch screen is quite accurate. The picture is beautifully crisp and clear. It's fast enough for browsing, email and casual games at the kitchen nook.

Cons: This one was missing batteries for the mouse and the ones in the keyboard were dead. Not a big deal but just shows how the refurb process is not being adhered to.

Other Thoughts: For me the no wireless isn't a big deal as it's home is where the router lives anyways. For some people I could see it's an issue but really you can get a very small cheap WiFi dongle anywhere these days so for this price that's just nitpicking.

I'm not sure if I'd venture refurb on something as big and heavy as this with New Egg again. This due to the hefty shipping charges to ship it back when it didn't work. If I could trust they actually refurbed it I would be more inclined but I get the feeling that when a return comes in they just ship it back out again.

Note: New Egg's RMA process says their UPS rates are preferred (Cheaper) rates but I could actually get it cheaper by just going to Ended up doing through my account just to keep it tied to New Egg.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive

Pros: Fast computer, touch screen is accurate and great, large 24" screen is super clear with 1080, stayed with Windows 7 for stability, good wireless keyboard and mouse - small and easy to use, everything I have tried so far works very well.

Cons: Have not seen any cons yet, but only had it on a couples days.

Other Thoughts: I always hesitate to buy refurbished anything. I have had mixed results in the past. This computer was a positive "score" for certain. Works great, touch screen is just a plus in my book, clarity with the screen (1080) is really nice, it's very fast, software all loaded easily (even some older things). Since I have only used it a couple days, I cannot critique it like others who might have had it for a while. My opinion - great price - great product so far.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent value

Pros: - Tough to beat "Bang for the buck"
- Solid and well-built AIO
- Sleek and responsive screen
- Quiet and pretty fast (upgrade to 8 Gb ram if necessary)

Cons: - No wi-fi (deal breaker for some?)
- One USB port is taken for the wireless mouse (no bluetooth)

Other Thoughts: This AIO was up and running in a matter of seconds. Installed Windows 8 and though I got a warning that some items would not be perfectly compatible, I've been totally satisfied with the ET2410 so far.

My opinion: W8 begs for a touchscreen and less than 23" would be settling for a much less interesting experience. At more than 1100$ for most 23"-AIO, I wasn't ready, but this Asus at that price was just perfect deal for me.

The no wi-fi could be a serious issue for some. I went with a powerline wi-fi adapter and though it means one more cable (which people who buy AIO pcs just don't want), it's just fine for my needs.

Hint: Look at the three slightly different versions of this Asus on Newegg to find the perfect one for you.

2 out of 5 eggsTouch screen dead

Pros: Bright high resolution screen, especially for a touch screen. Nicely processes video and audio through the HDMI.

Cons: Aside from the obvious hardware failure.
No wireless card. We didn't need the wireless card, but that should be a standard feature on a computer like this.
The touch screen worked for the first few hours but died soon into it. I figured it was a software issue, but after doing a complete system restore and updating firmware it still shows no sign of working.

Other Thoughts: We have this computer hooked to our TV and use it as an HTPC. Having the touch screen is important for us so we don't have to turn the TV on if we simply want to listen to music, etc.
I contacted Asus tech support hoping I wasn't missing anything. I do give them credit for answering the phone quickly and having a human on the other end. My confidence didn't last however since towards the end of the conversation and after providing the exact model number, the technician thought we were talking about a laptop.
**Newegg is awesome**

4 out of 5 eggsMeh.

Pros: Good speed on it. Nice display and sound.

Cons: Difficult to upgrade in any way.

Other Thoughts: When I got this, I loved it! It was quick, large, had a good display and the touchscreen worked well.

BUT when I upgraded to Windows 8, MS told me it's touch screen was not sensitive enough to use all the features of Windows 8, e.g. the multifinger swipes. Annoying. I tried to use the upgrade service to upgrade the BIOS, and their process didn't work. I contacted support and they said, "And unfortunately, currently we haven’t got any release drivers for Win8 for this AIO. Please pay attention to our website for further information in the near future. I suggest you'd better use the Win7 at present.

If you upgrade Win8, then it may cause some function loss or some software not compatible with the notebook. Sorry for any inconvenience and wish you have a nice day."

1 out of 5 eggsPoor refurb testing

Pros: Nice screen
Wireless keyboard and mouse (if they worked)

Cons: Cpu fan noisier than expected
Touch response slower than expected
Wireless keyboard and mouse do not work (different model keyboard than pictured) Batteries checked good. Neither have a connect button so they were not matched correctly or tested during the refurb process.

Other Thoughts: Disappointed wireless keyboard and mouse do not work, but it is not worth the shipping costs to return the whole pc for replacement. Expected better quality control by Asus...

1 out of 5 eggsNo luck on this refurb

Pros: Crisp clear HD display. No clutter. Reasonably fast if your not planning on fps gaming or anything along those lines. Great for the kitchen nook I thought.

Cons: Mine was broken and obviously so. There is no way this unit was checked in a refurb process. The touch screen was non-functional. It was eratic and all over the place. Closer inspection revealed the screen out of whack with the bevel and the dvd drive didn't line up correctly when closed. QA gets an F.

Other Thoughts: Now I'm out $42 to ship it back to NE. I hope the next one's not the same (Replace only item)! I've never had a reurb problem until this one... and it's a doozy.
