5 out of 5 eggsExceeds expectations

Pros: Worked right out of the box. Video and sound are more then adequate for any games I have. Comes with windows 7.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this machine for anyone who wants to get the most out of PC games. Loads web pages very quickly.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent computer on a moderate budget

Pros: Very quiet, fast enough to run photo editing software, video editing software, along with music or movies in the background without getting choppy. Doesnt come preloaded with bloat-ware. has a great audio toolbar. seems pretty stable so far; starts up/shuts down quickly and no lag when opening programs

Cons: One and only complaint: the keyboard that it comes with is terrible. The lettering is grey on black and is has a shiny coating on the top. so unless you type with ZERO visual reference to the keys, it can be a real nuisance. I wont even take an egg away for this, but c'mon... someone should have thought that through.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING

Pros: Great setup for price runs modern games like a dream

Cons: the only thing i don't like is there is a design flaw that keeps the disk drive from being opened with a manual input

5 out of 5 eggsNice PC

Pros: Fast, quiet, Windows 7

Cons: None so far. I have not had any problems with McAfee as others have reported.

Other Thoughts: I got a cheaper Lenovo and added a video card but it was not compatible with my 27" 2560x1440 monitor. This PC worked great with it from the first boot.

3 out of 5 eggsWorst Asus tech support

Pros: Just got the unit last night. Solid machine with Win 7, has 2 USB3 on front, AMD graphic card and 12 GB RAM. Should be a very good configuration, except the 1TB hard drive is too SMALL. If I want 2TB, I have to get Win 8 which is a disaster OS.

Cons: ASUS tech support is the worst that I have ever experienced. Since the new PC came with 2 partitions, C (Win7) and D (data). I want to resize the 2 partitions to meet MY (not ASUS) need, and ask Asus to help and they refuse to go a few extra inches to help customers about resizing under Win7 who just bought Asus product.

Also, Asus doesn't provide any instruction like manual how to install a USM (universal storage module) to provide additional storage space, even though the M51AD model has USM capability. Its standard manual does NOT have any information about USM and its installation and how to open the case. It is really sucks ASUS is NOT willing to provide customers with the instruction to install USM by assuming all its customers are dumb and need Asus service centers to do the USM installation.

Other Thoughts: I shall provide my additional experience about this M51AD model later later.
