Good low end machine
- Pros: This is a good computer for the price. Lots of power and does everything I'd expect out of it. Great air flow and it runs VERY quiet.
- Cons: I have gotten quite a few bsods since I've had it. I just received it on Friday the 27th of Feb, and I think I've had about 5-6 bsods, the latest one being a problem caused by a piece of Realtek hardware. The others were suspected to be connected to the Ethernet adapter. Still trying to sort it out.
The graphics card isn't the best, but it's serviceable. I purchased a Radeon HD 4670 at the same time though and switched it out.
- Other Thoughts: Other than the crashes, I'm enjoying the machine. Hopefully I can get that taken care without too much trouble.
Oh yeah, I was surprised at how big it was. This was the first time I bought a computer specific to gaming so it probably won't be new to a lot of you out there. I like the blue display light, it matches my mouse and external hard drive. It's very bright though, so I use the computer with it out of my field of vision.
Again, I have to get the crash issue worked out, but this computer so outclasses my previous system (an old pavilion a520n) that I can't help but recommend it if you want to game on a budget.
Decent stuff
- Pros: Everything arrived in once piece and worked right out of the box. Nice price all things considered.
- Cons: Chassis is kind of cheesy with this model but it's purely cosmetic so who cares.
Only lacking 1 thing
- Pros: Great PC for the price.
- Cons: Video Card is kind of week. 9500 is lacking. Motherboard does not support cross fire or SLI.
- Other Thoughts: Upgrade the video card and your set.
