5 out of 5 eggsVery Impressed

Pros: Excellent Value
Nothing comes close to it for the price tag
Able to game very very well

Cons: Case is a bit too "cool dude" for my tastes, but meh, whatever!
Vista 64 bit edition can be a bit of a pain, but it's no big deal.

Other Thoughts: Shipped fast, set up fast, updated and downloaded recent drivers then installed Warhammer Online (which is pretty high end specs) Game runs at high quality for all settings at 60FPS, wonderful!

If you are wondering about build quality, I can tell you that my unit was made with care, very well put together.

5/5

4 out of 5 eggsgreat pc for the price

Pros: worked great right out of the box. first thing i did (after updating drivers and such) was fire up WOW and crank up the settings, hovered around 50 fps with max video settings and all my add ons running on a wireless connection in under city.

the case is pretty long and i dont see any graphics cards not fitting i measured from back of the case to bays to be about 12 inches.
runs quiet, to the point that i was trying to push the machine just to get some sound out of it.
fans keep it cool with temp hovering around 40c

contrary to what every one says i dont find vista to be all that bad after turning off those annoying warnings.

haven't overclocked it yet but definitively could get more out of it.

Cons: front of the case is kinda gaudy
coming off a mac its awkward not having any firewire and having to update drivers manually
onboard sound is nothing special
keyboard feels mushy and is nothing to marvel at

Other Thoughts: over all im happy with my purchase, its nothing amazing but definitely worth what you pay for it.

make sure that any other peripheral you buy for this machine have 64 bit drivers available. it can be a pain buying a piece of hardware to get it home and find out it wont run on a x64

4 out of 5 eggsSolid and cheap pc

Pros: Cheaper than buying the parts and building it myself. Runs all the games I need at good frames.

Cons: Not really the a problem with the pc. Vista came and it didn't work after about 10 minutes. I had to spend a little time with microsoft tech

Other Thoughts: I thought I would like a nice computer with leds in it, but it kinda bothers me when im gaming in the dark lol. next time i'll get a normal case and no lights

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Gaming Computer for Price

Pros: *Works right out of the box.
*Fast
*Great ventilation, but not too loud
*Went from 5 fps on my laptop to 60 fps on this computer, with full graphics (World of Warcraft)
*Runs programs quick
*Starts quick, sleeps and wakes up swiftly.
*Watching videos is a breeze.

Cons: *The keyboard was dinky and cheap, as was the mouse. But isn't that kind of expected with these kinds of things?
*Will update more later if something else comes up.

Other Thoughts: I am using a better keyboard/mouse combo I bought previously. The keyboard keys (new comp's keyboard) stuck constantly over the first few days, which caused some havoc in WoW when playing. I hadn't eaten/drunk, or done anything spillable near them at that point.

While the computer came in the iBuyPower box, it seemed to be very securely packaged. I had no issues.

I'm noticing that some programs used for gaming need to be 'Run as an administrator' to get the full effect. But that's more Vista issues.

I love this computer - my hubby got a brand new comp from CyberPower that is about the same price, but was out of stock when I went to get me one. So instead I got this one from iBuyPower, and have been quite pleased with the result.

One note, make sure to plug your monitor into the graphics card... not the motherboard. Never having had a computer with hi-tech video outputs, I at first thought the computer didn't work. Nope. It was fine, I just plugged in the wrong place at firs

Pros: Got here on time and was easy to set up and get going, Works good for WoW and gaming! really good for the price

Cons: Vista some how made it were i had 2 CD rom drive and was not reading any disk we would put in im not to shaby with that so i had a friend come over and he was able to fix it easy. occasionally the keyboard and/or mouse will loose power and have to restart, other then that it was good.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet deal

Pros: looks good feels good runs good lets face it, its good for the price. Its very quiet even though it has a lot of fans... Ill be buying a few more of these PC's. Who ever put it together took their time and and did a great job...its absolutely spotless inside.

Cons: I have not run into any problems thus far but if I do believe me I will write here again.

Other Thoughts: I would have been really stoked if it came with Vista to Xp downgrade discs... but you cant have everything for that price I guess. Im never building a computer from scratch again. Oh and thanks for the great customer service over there at newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Buy

Pros: The system is actually pretty fast. I was suprised, because I had bought a Vista 32-bit PC for my kids. I upgraded it to 4GB of RAM and it was still slow. This PC is very quick from surfing the web to MS office products.

I'm a gamer and was curious how the video card would perform. So far, I've only loaded my Neverwinter Nights games on there, but they run pretty darn good!!! I'm going to test WOW and Oblivion soon. I'll update this then.

So far, its more than living up to my expectation.

Cons: I was a little concerned that it was maxed out on memory at 4GB, but so far it seems adequite.

Though, I wish the DVD plater had a manual eject button. It annoying I have to open/eject from Vista.

I wish it had a multi-card reader in it, instead of having to buy one to put in.

Although not an issue, I wish it had a high wattage power supply.

These are all pretty petty things. If buying this for kids or not a super techy wife, its a great PC.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this for my wife, as a replacement for her PC a built for her two years ago. that just died. She LOVES this PC way better and rewarded me well ;), for replacing her other PC with this one.

5 out of 5 eggsIt worx fine

Pros: This is a good size tower, lots of room for airflow. Had a few friends over , they just loved the color and design, thot was cool. My old T 6524 (emachine) would fit inside it :-D
Consider the facts........m/b, cpu.,nice case, suitable p/s,
good vid card, max ram , and a 320 gig hd. and an operating system !
This was just what I was looking for :-)
If you want , go ahead , visit some sites and try to configure a build from a someone . For this price... it's a bargain, and a very good one esp. since it is preloaded with an Op. Sys.

Cons: Mostly cosmetic , reset button should be more in center, vice side..... bump it and poof havta restart ur game. The lighting fixture inside case is either under-powered , or faulty (only 1/4 inch very dimmly lit).
If you play online games like Pogo, or Yahoo ; u will need a java platform installed .
The video card did not hav drivers installled , I went to nvidia
and downloaded it notta problem.
I do play online cribbage, let me tell you...this thing flies compared to my old system . Athlon 64 3500 + 2x1g... 2x512 on shared , 6800xt G-force card.

Other Thoughts: I also bought the ASUS VW198T Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1, 3000:1(ASCR) Built in Speakers - connected via DVI . Flawless operation and great picture , no dead pixels (yet) . EVERYTHING worked outta the box , no issues on performance , runs smooth.
There have been some peeps dont like the mouse... welllllllll there fella, worx fine for me, in fact.... worked so well my son cleptoed it and uses it for counter strike .
Further more, just ta letchu youngins know ,
there are those of us whome some address as gramma or grampa , that are out there kicking ur butts :-D ( am 51 this June), you can't tell by chat or gameplay , and you never know when the "whip" will come down on yer candy arses :-D
Be vigilant , watch out for ingame scammers , play hard , and please.....always be a good sport 'cause that's wut its all about :-)

4 out of 5 eggsGood Starter Computer

Pros: The computer has a lot of options on the front end to add other drivers or fan controllers. Good graphics card. Overall i am very satisfied with the computer. Fast install. Runs at an average temperature in game 40-50 degrees Celsius. And surfing the web its less than 30 degrees Celsius.

Cons: I am disappointed with the mouse and i am currently having problems with it. I would recomend the computer and keyboard, but i am having second thoughts on the mouse.

Other Thoughts: The mouse is the only reason i cannot give this machine 5 eggs.

1 out of 5 eggsNot so happy

Pros: Had everything I wanted for the right price

Cons: The customer service wasn't so hot when I contacted them about recieving the product with a loose video card just laying in the case and when installed didn't work.

Other Thoughts: I will probably not recommend this Ibuypower company to anyone.
