4 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: The case is lightweight. My smaller HP computer feels like a boulder compared to this one. Plenty of room for upgrades. I've been using it for several months now. It works great!

Cons: It's longer and taller than my previous computer, although it still fits in my computer cubby with plenty of space to spare.

Other Thoughts: I don't really need all the cool lights and Halo side panel, but I don't dislike them.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, But Held Back

Pros: This computer, quite simply, is a steal for this price. You get a quad core processor, 4 gigs of ram, and a very-very good starter computer for your gaming enthusiast. The case, on which one side is emblazoned with a print of Halo 2 is a bit out of date, considering how old Halo 2 is. But, it gets the job done, and has some real nice blue lighting to it. It's a very large case, which I like because it allows for greater airflow inside the case. The front part of the computer is on a hing which hides the disk try and that business, it can get a bit annoying when you want it to stay open, but it is a nice touch because it makes it look a bit more sleek.

Cons: The biggest con I've experienced with this computer is the lousy video card and the low-power PSU. One other pretty small con is that although it has 4 gigs of ram, it's already full-up. There are no more slots on the CPU so if you wanted to upgrade the ram you'll have to buy a 4 gig stick, which is quite pricey compared to 2 gig sticks these days. The PSU isn't very powerful as well, and that can lead to some problems. I don't know if this is a direct cause of it, but on my computer I find my USB ports a bit underpowered. The front ports don't carry enough power to power my WD passport, but the back ones do. I have attributed this to there being a lot of USB ports, but not enough power to power them fully.

Other Thoughts: This is, as I said earlier, an amazing computer. I'm thinking about buying another for my girlfriend (Who, bless her, is not that up on current computer trends, but she likes to do some gaming, and have a quick machine) for under 500 dollars it is very affordable, and with another 100-200 dollars of upgrades you can have an amazing computer. I replaced the card with a HIS AMD 4670 (A budget card) and on games such as Counter-Strike: Source I get over 60 FPS with every setting maxed. So if you are looking to get a start on a budget gaming rig, or are looking to not spend an arm and a leg buying a gift for your favorite computer enthusiast then this one is for you.

Pros: All I can say is that this computer gets the job done and is CHEAP for what you get!

Cons: Low powered video card is the only thing holding this computer back

Other Thoughts: I am extremely happy with this computer!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: fast shipping, decent price for a computer that you can upgrade to a decent gaming system.

Cons: None, really, I'm not too fond of the hinged cover on the front but that's not really a con, just my own taste.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded the psu and video card and made it worthwhile. ( and gave the 8400gs away )

Pros: Fast.

Cons: Where to start. First when i got it the hard drive cord was broken. Then a month later the PSU goes up. This is pretty much a joke.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Beautiful machine. Very fast, affordable, and stylish. Everything your getting for such a great price.

Cons: I was hoping for the 480 watt PSU but unfortunately I got a 330 watt. I could have waited to upgrade the PSU for a little bit if it came with the 480 but now I have to rush the order for a 600.

Other Thoughts: I still recommend the machine if you want a cheap gaming pc and plan to upgrade it. Im not the only one who had the problem with the PSU though so consider that. The shipping was rather nice too. I plan to keep purchasing from newegg as this is my 4th purchase.

1 out of 5 eggsFirst Time Buyer

Pros: None
*read Cons

Cons: I bought this computer a couple days ago and was anticipating its arrival. It came in on time. WHen i got it i took a look at the computer itself and everything seemed to be all right. I then plugged it in and proceeded to turn it on. It didn't turn on. I then checked the voltage and the power switch in the back. Still didn't turn on. I spent about 5 hours checking all the parts all the wires, everything. Still doesn't turn on. Being a first time buyer from new egg this is not making want to come back and buy again.

4 out of 5 eggsit's a decent buy

Pros: I've had this for about three months. Way faster then my old comp which was the goal of course or why update? If you price each part in here individually you can't beat what they are selling it at. Like it so much I bought my girlfriend one.

Cons: When I first got it I had no video signal. A quick call to the manufacter solved that problem. The 480W psu actually sucks. My old comps 240W had almost identical amperage. Not a huge fan of the 8400gs but it will do till I can afford a better card.

Other Thoughts: When my girlfriends came in, the vista key code wouldn't work but got that squared away. Plus I'm a bit disappointed with inconsistancy from ibuypower. Mine had everything as stated in tech specs. My girlfriends on the other hand came with a q8300, mushkin ram, and a 330W psu with much higher amperage then mine had.

so naturally I bought a new psu for mine. just got it yesterday and wow makes a abit of a difference. now I can put a much better video card in it with no worries. Just wished I new the manufacter for the sticks of RAM. None of my identifier prog's seem to be able to figure out the manufacter. oh well I love it anyways.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decent computer for the price. A friend of mine uses it mostly. Not going to run anything cutting edge, but does what I want it to.

Cons: When I got it it wouldn't start up. Finally found out the jumpers for the power switch, HDD light, etc was not hooked up correctly. That kind of irritated me. Most people who buy pre-build computers don't want to open it up the second they get it in my opinion.

Other Thoughts: Good computer just that one little thing sort of ruined the product for me. Solid computer overall tough.
