4 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: I can play all of my favorite games at relatively high settings without any issues and do my regular internet browsing simultaneously. I have had no memory issues and the video card certainly is a lovely little workhorse!

Cons: Lack of fans, honestly. This PC would get 5 stars if it had one on top and on the side(filters wouldn't hurt either, but I'm really picky).

It can get warm if you neglect cleaning it out. Dust/hair is bad for a case with not so great ventilation.

Other Thoughts: iBUYPOWER produces quality computers, I gotta say. I've had this since 2011 and it's still running strong! I might be getting a new computer in the next year or two and I -know- I'll be going to them again.

Pros: Runs great. i can get 60 fps on certain games. Has plenty of storage and runs any game i have played smoothly( CS, BF3 ,etc) but have yet to run crysis. The tower itself is big enough for further upgrades and they set up the wires insides the computer gives you the best circulation for a gamin computer. Great for what you pay for... or is it?

Cons: But only problem i got which is a big problem is my computer all of a sudden refuse to turn on. I was convinced it was the power supply since no lights or any power would cut on. But at the same time this is a very new computer with a 600 w power supply. I just don't understand. i thought maybe something was either loose but i took it apart and reconnected everything accordingly and still have yet to work. Im not saying this is a bad computer its a great computer at fact, but it disappoints me that a 600 w power supply went out or w.e it is. its been a couple months since its been out and i hope this great computer and its manufacturer will help me determine this problem and get it fixed soon. Ive been craving to use it again );

Pros: When they run, the systems are fast..

Cons: I bought 10 ( yes 10 of these) as I just opened a Steam LAN center / PC Repair shop.
For the first month I have had 4 machines going at the most.

Now its spring break and the word is definitely out about the business in my town. I'm suddenly getting overwhelmed with customers. good thing ? NO. Its the start of a nightmare for me. Now with all 10 machines on the go during the day with school being out, I have seen 3 of these computers crash, consistantly blue/grey/black screening (in games) with only way out of it by hitting the reboot button. Another machine just blacks out but always comes back alive. Already hearing nasty comments about my business due to their games being ruined, you have no idea how this is hurting me. I am a qualifed A+ PC/Network technician and have taken A machine and done everything with it to try stop the crashes, All drivers were updated / mem/ temperature checks +increasing fan speeds. PC Voltages stable. I NEED to talk to someone about th

Other Thoughts: I did not pay over $7000 for almost half a bunch of lemons. I will even have a camera record this happening if you need proof.

Pros: Nice graphics card and CPU. Plays all my games at 60fps

Cons: Three BSOD's, three random shutdowns, and now the BIOS is stuck in a boot loop and when I get out of the boot loop, Windows goes to blue screen and tries to launch startup repair. Also, the fan is really loud.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE. Excellent speed both CPU and GPU. Got this for my son to play his games on and averages 60-120 fps on most of the high-end games he plays. Have yet to see < 60 fps on any game.

Cons: After about a week of use the power supply fan starting clicking. I do Computer Repair on the side and was not going to waste time sending back and waiting for a replacement or repair. 8 Screws (4 to remove power supply, 4 to take cover off power supply) and problem of "wires" dangling into cooling fan problem found and solved. While working in the PSU can tell it is a lower end unit and will probably end up replacing it in the next year or so. But for now it works fine.

Other Thoughts: I have bought iBuyPower PC's in the past and have been impressed with the cost to quality of components. This unit seemed to be on the lower end of quality, but then the price was also on the lower end. Overall my son has really enjoyed this unit. His gaming "wins" has more than doubled due to the fact that he is getting "real-time" visual feedback instead of 5-10 fps with stutters lie on his old system. Great computer for a teenager.

4 out of 5 eggsiBUYPOWER Gamer EXTREME 923i Desktop

Pros: This is a pretty reliable system for its price, without having to build one your self. Also installed a 120 GB OCZ solid state drive, boots up in 4 sec, wished I had invest on these drives long time ago. Overall fast delievery and customer service. I think it was the nice video card too that sold me on this product beside the pricing.

Cons: Loud humming of the fans, maybe due to the fully blasted fan speed in the bios or many ventilation comparments. The Sata drive could be properly secured, was out of the rack slot when received, good thing I opened up the system and check the connections. Also cd/rw-rom drive was dead on arrival, however newegg does a great job on the customer service to help me replace this drive, minor issue.

5 out of 5 eggsGood "starter" gaming computer

Pros: I doubt iBuypower will issue this again. But here are my thoughts.
I set up two of these for my friend's twin 12 year old boys. They been beating them around for a month now and no problems.
WEI - 7.4 to 7.6 in all categories except HD 5.9 (which is the max a HD can get).
The $629 price dropped after we bought it to $579. Hard to beat. I know that some of the builders on Tom's said they could build better, but I couldn't for that price.

Cons: The motherboard is a little dated. ASRock H61M-HVS is good but this is the first thing I would update in a year or two hen the user grows into needing more form their rig.

But the H61m series of boards are decent at the price.

Other Thoughts: At $579 this is a great starter computer

5 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: As always, the Newegg experience was great. Got exactly what I ordered in timely fashion. It was packed well also. Starts up very quickly, and ready to go within a few short seconds. NO BLOATWARE.....Hooray!
Rated 6.4 or above out of 6.7 on windows experience rating in everything except the HD transfer rate which was a 5.6 or something like that. You can hear the fans, but not loud by any means. Cool red LED lights in front fan. Nice looking case, easy to open, and cables are all tied up nicely out of the way.
Have only really played WOW on it so far. Takes high settings no problem at over 60 fps. Barely heated up while doing so, and fans stayed at under 50%

Cons: Not even close to updated windows or drivers. Spent a lot of time updating everything, but I guess that is really pretty standard with most computers. Had a minor issue with Windows updates not wanting to update. Quick google search on the problem provided a resolution.

Not expandable! What this thing has is all it is really ever gonna have except for maybe a faster Video card you might purchase. Only two RAM slots, and the video card blocks any other PCI E or other card slots. But hey what do you want for $600.00

Other Thoughts: I opened it up and first made sure everything was seated properly before starting it. It has two fans (not counting processor, or power unit), one on front, and one on back. There is a large vent on top screaming for a third exhaust fan which I will probably add soon. Again I can hear the fans, but do not consider them loud by any means.
Have only been able to play with this computer a little bit as it is a christmas gift for my boys, and I have to hide it when they are home.
To address a few complaints I've seen: Loud fan-Make sure there are no spare connections laying against fan blades. There was in mine which Im sure would have been loud if not moved.
Won't recognize monitor-Make sure you plug into the connection on the video card, not the mother board.
BSOD-make sure everything is seated properly before starting it up.
Intereference on headphones-I don't know? Mine works just fine.

Overall, so far Im pretty darn happy, and looking forward to trying out some other gam

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This desktop was a great investment thus far. It came ready to plug and play with vga, dvi, and hdmi inputs in both the graphics card and mobo. It's a fairly quiet system, and the LED's in the front aren't too overpowering at all. Best bang for your buck in terms of proc/memory/hd disk space. Absolutely no bloatware - awesome! and is water cooling compatible :)

Cons: None thus far.

Other Thoughts: This system should have come with a blu ray drive :) if not the mobo could be improved a bit. From what I saw there was no space for a second graphics card to run crossfire - but the system can handle skyrim at the highest settings so no complaints.
