5 out of 5 eggs8 months and blazing

Pros: It just works!

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: This PNY stuff works great. Initially bought one set of 8GB to put in a Adobe Lightroom 3 machine I built (Asus board + core i5 2500K CPU). So my machine booted fine with 8GB. Then b/c the price was so low, I bought another package of the exact same PNY 8GB. My PC runs on 16GB and for 8 months it's been perfect. Product looks great in the case. Love the orange/gold shielding. 4 sticks in a row looks great. They run great. Win 7 64 bit gives me 7.7 experience index with them!

3 out of 5 eggsNot Bad For Price I guess

Pros: It's has decent specs, but you won't see much use of your Hexacore (6) CPU on gaming. On video rendering/processing maybe, if you do that sort of thing, but honestly GPU power means more in that arena.

Cons: You can build much better yourself with better specs and for less money. That being said, doing a fresh build like this would require at least 3-4 hours of work to put together, more if you are a novice, so the extra money (about 500 extra) is going towards compensating the workers time for putting it together, plus overhead.

-No SSD
-Low Wattage on PSU
-CPU is outdated
-MoBo chipset is outdated
-W7 Pro on a gaming rig, why?

Other Thoughts: The 6 core CPU is overkill on a gaming rig. Games do not currently utilize more than 4 cores. Also, this particular CPU is rather expensive and will not show a performance increase over an i7-2600k or 2700k. In fact, if you are buying a new rig, you should look into getting one of the new Ivy Bridge CPUs & mobo chipsets.

GTX 570 is a nice GPU, but it's a bit outdated. Personally I would go with 2x 580s at least, or the equivalent from AMD/ATI, or even newer.

The MoBo on this thing has lots of room for upgrades, but in order to use that you're going to need a new PSU - 800W will not cut it.

-Get a new Ivy bridge CPU with a chipset that supports it + dual PCIE 3.0. Look into getting a single PCIE 3.0 compatible GPU, can add a 2nd in SLI later (or even a 3rd).
-Get a Higher Wattage GPU. 1200W should be sufficient.
-Get an SSD + Aftermarket cooling system. Coolermaster Hyper Evo is nice.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Enough

Pros: This computer is fast. I do computer animation with Daz Studio, iClone, and Adobe Premiere. The amount of rendering time is drastically reduced. So far, it's handled everything I've thrown at it. Any online gaming that I do can be played at the highest graphics settings with no performance issues.

Cons: Like most of the others that posted, I had a "fallen off" cpu fan. It most likely fell off during shipment, no problems since I just reattached it. Also, it had a Gigabyte USB 3.0 cable going to the front that was off of the motherboard. Again, no problem with fixing. Just be sure to check it over as its cost is high. If you overclock the cpu, you might want to look into a water cooling system to be used with this. Lastly, I really wish that if a company is going to sell me a gaming system, please include at least one game for Pete's sake.

Other Thoughts: Overall, it's a great system for the money.

4 out of 5 eggsIt does work.

Pros: Fast and easy setup. It does work well, but the signal strength wasn't very impressive. My laptop gets better signal in the spot where my desktop sits.

Cons: Lacking signal.

Other Thoughts: Would be okay for a computer that is relatively close. My desktop is up one floor and on the opposite wall.

5 out of 5 eggsThis computer is amazing!!

Pros: Computer arrived super fast. Ordered it on a Monday, and got it on Wednesday.

The computer itself is a beast. With the graphics power and 32gb of RAM, it is lightning fast! I play X3 Albion Prelude, and it runs smooth even on the highest settings. I can't wait to see how well it works with other games.

Cons: One of the internal fans was loose and moving around in the case, but I figure that's a normal risk of shipping a computer. No biggie. I reattached it and was good to go.

Other than that, no cons.

Other Thoughts: Cost a lot.. Oh well, totally worth it.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

5 out of 5 eggsNewEgg's Service + iBuyPower = Win

Pros: This is a great build - the motherboard allows for an upgrade to dual 570 GTX SLI if you're looking to improve your fps or setup for 3D Visual Surround. You'll need to invest in a new power supply. (If you don't know how to do this or what I'm talking about, consult a professional. The potential is there.)

After upgrading to Windows 7 Pro, you can take advantage of the 32GBs of ram (current restriction with Home is 16GB, so be sure to upgrade. It's easy.)

Additionally, NewEgg had my order processed and shipped in less than 4 hours on a Friday. I've been a long time NewEgg customer and whether it's getting you what you want fast during the Holidays OR honoring a needed return - they are 100% on top of it.

Overall great build at a great price.

Cons: Nothing.

Other Thoughts: This will be my second iBuyPower machine in 3 years. My current tower is still running extremely well and it's going to be sticking around the house as an additional gaming station for friends.
