Pros: Fast machine, at a good price. I have been working the CPU hard for two weeks and all is holding up. The temperature is higher then I expected from units that I have built, but in the acceptable range. I had hoped that the machine would be quiet and it is. There is room to add a couple of more fans and I may do that to make sure that the airflow is not short circuiting. There is plenty of room for expansion. The wiring was neat and somewhat easy to trace, too bad I had to on a new machine.

Cons: Packaging is abysmal, when I picked the box up to take it inside I felt the computer shift and heard a clunk. When I opened the box the computer was not touching the top Styrofoam support. The front face plate was off and one of the support pegs was laying in the box. The face plate fits fine after gluing the peg back on. I was unable to get the front USB 3.0 connections to work and found that the connector to the motherboard was hanging loose. The statement that the thumb screws had been forced in was true on my machine and the Phillips end of the thumb screw had been partially stripped out.

Other Thoughts: Nice machine if you are willing to open the computer and repair problems caused by poor packaging.

Pros: It works, thats about it though.

Cons: I bought a custom computer from them in the same case. When it arrived the motherboard was bent from the cpu cooler pushing on it. Because of this the motherboard does not line up as all with the plate on the back and blocks half of the I/O ports. The builder had to clearly know this was happening as the cpu cooler would have been pushed on hard to get it to line up with the screw holes on the case. I spoke with their customer service about it and all they wanted was a picture of the problem but did not offer any kind of compensation for the terrible build that i received.

Other Thoughts: I would never waste my time with them and i hope this saves at least someone some future trouble.

Pros: For a rig out of the box this is fantastic. It's lightning fast, built with quality parts. If you don't have the time, inclination or knowledge base to build your own, this is a fantastic machine. I am in gaming bliss.

My last box was an Alienware, and I thought I would try this to get more computer for my money. All in all, I think this was worth the price and hassle. Even with the same issues, I would likely buy it again.

Cons: This is the entire reason this gets 3 stars rather than 5.

Workmanship. The inside of the box is neat an organized except for one VERY important flaw. When mine came, I had to open up the case, and immediately the liquid cooling unit fell into my hand. The screws holding it into the case had come loose during shipping and had damaged (cosmetically, not it's usefulness) the grating. The screws were in the bottom of the box, and were NOT the right screws for putting in the unit. The were so short that only the very first thread of either of them had made it into the screw holes on the unit.

This could be really problematic for someone that does not want to put their hands in the box.

Now this is not a shipping issue. Yes the unit came detached during shipping, but, it should have never passed quality inspection from ibuypower before leaving the door. It's too expensive a machine to have that sort of shoddy craftsmanship. The slightest pressure on that unit would have made it come off in a techs hands. And being right on top of the graphics card, and right next to the memory, it could have caused a lot of damage. Luckily it didn't, or this would have been a very different review! Even having loose metal screws floating around the case could have been really damaging potentially.

And add to that...

I had an issue where some of the thumb screws were in SO TIGHT that it was near impossible to remove them, you can see where they stripped pains off the inside if the holes cranking them in. Thumb screws are called that for a reason. And these are small details which are really important for someone that plans to upgrade parts in the future. I purposely bought the most computer I could buy right now, with the intention of having something I could upgrade in the future as time and cash permit.

It's nice of them to include the cheap keyboard and mouse, but I think with a machine this good, no one would really use them, I would have rather it just got left out, one less thing for me to toss out or give away. (This doesn't go against my score either, just a side note)

Other Thoughts: Had I bought from the manufacturer direct I would have paid the extra for the premium packaging to help protect the machine during shipping. Unfortunately buying it directly from Newegg does not have that option. This is not the fault of either company, and I am not holding this against my score for the product.

Because of the weight of the machine (30+ lbs), I felt the packaging was inadequate and may have added to the problem I had above. Some of the Styrofoam packing had broken in the box (on the top of the machine) and the only places where high density foam was used was one sheet on each side, leaving a large cavity all around do to the size of the box. Better packaging, would have really made a difference to me.

Pros: It Was Exactly How I wanted It,
And It Looks Exactly Like The Pictures.

Cons: None So Far...

Other Thoughts: Grate For The Price.
