5 out of 5 eggsGreat value for the price

Pros: Looks great. Free keyboard and mouse are nice for a free set. Good amount of ports. Everything looks well wired/tucked inside. Manuals discs included.

Cons: Hard drive mounting had fallen/unsnapped during shipment. I just snapped it back in place and it was fine. A cover for a bay on the front had the same issue. Snapped back in and no further issues.

Other Thoughts: So far this computer has been great for a prebuild and a good value for the money spent. Would buy again.

2 out of 5 eggsCan't stream videos online...

Pros: Fast and can run games I play on High Settings without a problem
Everything came attached and was good to go out of the box

Cons: Everything seemed good until I started streaming videos. Every 5 to 10 minutes, screen would turn black with a white line across the center of the screen horizontally (while in full screen mode). I first thought it was the website/particular video causing the black screen, but I streamed the same video on my laptop without a black screen issues...

Other Thoughts: This could be an easy fix..I don't know..and I will never be able to find out since IBP support hours are from Mon-Fri from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm...doesn't majority of people work during those hours?

This is why I was somewhat hesitant before I bought a pre-built PC (w/ generic brand parts)..when some things go bad..I have to RMA the entire pc instead of specific parts..

I'll either have to take a day off from work to contact IBP support to try and get this thing fixed (if I can't resolve it on my own)..or RMA it back...or just keep it and not stream videos on it LOL

3 out of 5 eggsGreat computer, in spite of iBuypower support

Pros: Fast, can run most games at high settings, plenty of USB ports

Cons: Poor iBuypower support, cheap looking case, chugs during certain games like Witcher II

Other Thoughts: In spite of the following complaints, I like the computer quite a lot. It's fast and runs my dual display setup well in games, Photoshop and Premiere. I primarily bought it because building one is a hassle I didn't want to deal with at the moment. I could really leave the case though. It looks like it was designed by MadCatz in the mid 90s. Like it's the 4th N64 controller you make your little brother use.

The mouse that comes with it is comfortable enough with easy to reach additional buttons and a DPI switch. It's a keeper in my book. Strangely enough, my first unit (arrived DOA) came with a very nice backlit keyboard. The second one they sent included a generic multimedia keyboard (not backlit) instead, but still very nice for a pack in. Though I do plan on replacing it.

As mentioned, my first tower arrived DOA. Second one arrived with a botched Windows install and a keyboard with issues. I've called iBuypower support 3 times and each time I get what sounds like a nonplussed twenty year old talking down to me from the first word. The last one was pretty exasperated all around, seemingly about life in general. I'll save you the... whatever, but I've been working professionally in the IT industry for 17 years. I wasn't trying to talk over these guys or act like I knew more. I've been making these tech calls for years and years. This stuff happens and we all know it, so I was pretty calm and collected. Needless to say the treatment was pretty off putting, even if it wound up in me getting a working computer in the long run.

I work in the same industry as iBuypower, but for the Apple side of things. The product they "build" is composed of off the shelf components made by other people, of course. Literally the only things they are responsible for is making sure that product is properly "built" and to support the customers during the ownership portion of the product. Unfortunately I have been let down by iBuypower's ability to deliver on either of these fronts.

Ultimately I guess I would say that any computer you buy or build, from anyone, that includes these same specs would be a wise investment. This configuration is more than capable for editing in Premiere and the Adobe suite, can run most games on high settings and powers both my displays running at 1080p. Again, after my experience with iBuypower I don't know that I would recommend them as the place to provide it.

4 out of 5 eggsEquivalent to price

Pros: Machines are a you get what you pay for, I payed a decent price so I got a decent machine. I don't expect to play hardcore games on this but it was replacing my wife's 6 year old laptop so comparatively this machine is a 2014 Challenger to a 97' Tercel

Cons: Came Damaged
No Manual in Box

Other Thoughts: Performs beautifully, tech support was helpful even though they new I was just calling cause I was tired and other than a few cosmetic damages(presumably from shipping) the machine is excellent. Even more so because anything I end up not liking about it can just be upgraded with the many extra slots the machine provides

4 out of 5 eggsJust got it yesterday

Pros: I think it is a good computer for a good price (I got it at 540$). It runs super quiet. It looks like a transformer. I like that it has feet and a fan underneath, I thought that was pretty ingenious. Shipping was fast, I got it in 3 business days, from CA to NY.

Cons: None worth writing home about. See below for minor complaints that aren't really Ibuypower's fault.

Other Thoughts: I'm already starting to hate things about windows 8. I went into it with an open mind, and I suppose I'll adjust, but that's not really ibuypower's fault anyhow. I crashed WoW a couple of times and hung the system for a minute, but I was trying to watch a 1080p movie, and was also running Wow before it was fully installed, so I think that's my fault as well. The enter key on the keyboard is small and the key board doesn't raise up high enough for me. I really like the mouse though.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Dang Good For The Price

Pros: Works great especially for what I do with Design.

Cons: I don't like how the usb ports are on the top. I prefer them in the front. It especially is a pain because I can't put my tower all the way into my desk because of this.

Other Thoughts: Not any really big cons at all. I think this computer is awesome for the price. I highly recommend it.

4 out of 5 eggsWorth its price

Pros: Better processor and graphics card than what Im used to and runs extremely smooth!

Cons: Only 500 GB of memory isnt that much, but it can be replaced so its not that big of a problem

Other Thoughts: Some of my ports were bent, but support was kind enough to mail me a new top for it.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Entry Level but just 1 thing!

Pros: Computer Performs just as i expected. Decently Fast, and runs nice and stable.

Cons: It claimed to have 2, 4gb sticks of ram. I opened up the case, and there was only 1 8 gb stick.

5 out of 5 eggsBest I Ever Had

Pros: This is the best computer I have ever owned. There has been no problems yet and it has been running smooth since late August. This is a great computer for anyone looking to buy a beast cheap computer.

Cons: None Yet!

Other Thoughts: The only problem I had was that I needed to update my Realtek drivers for my mic to work, but other than that, all you had to do was plug it in and go!
