3 out of 5 eggsI thought It was great

Pros: The computer started out great running the majority of my games on high fps, but I don't play super high graphic games, mostly league of legends and DotA and some other steam games, starcraft 2. Everything was going great for about 2 months.

Cons: Well I've had the computer for about two months, and it recently started randomly crashing, Its happened twice now, If it continues I will be asking for a refund. It could be that I turned the energy saver mode off, I just turned it back on so we will see. Regardless of that why does a computer come with a high performance mode if it can't handle it.

Other Thoughts: I was so excited when I got the computer, because on my old one I would get around 13 fps on league of legends and couldn't even play some of the others I listed but if the crashes continue I can't in good mind recommend this build to anyone.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Computer

Pros: I have to say I am pretty impressed by the value of this deal. I am no extreme gamer, but this seems to more than meet my needs. I really like the design and casing of the computer, especially the quick hard drive slot on top. Also, if you built a computer with the same specs it would easily cost you more, and you lose the bonuses (Ex. The mouse that I like much more than my previous mouse) and their support. I am also really glad they put the 8GB of RAM as one card with another slot open, allowing you to easily upgrade to 16GB if you want. Overall, I am really happy with this computer and would recommend it to practically every gamer except for the hardcore.

Cons: The main con I think is the keyboard. It is OK. Now, I don't expect the keyboard to be amazing by any means, but it would be nice if it was backlit, or some keys slightly glow. Of course, this is an unreasonable request due to the great value you get from the rest of the computer.

4 out of 5 eggsWorth it!

Pros: r9 270 2gb is pretty much a gamer sweet spot, I'm running at 1080p 40+FPS average and my CPU clocked down to 2.9ghz (read cons):
ArcheAge MAX'd
Defiance MAX'd
Skyrim heavily modded MAX'd (with ENB)
PlanteSide 2 MAX'd (-antialiasing)
And on Valley Benchmarking (Unigine.com) it's maintained 40FPS or higher with Extreme preset.

So yeah... the hardware is easily worth the money.

This computer is amazing for the price I paid and a welcome upgrade from my i3 3.2ghz GT 620 4gb.

Cons: 1. Right out of the box, the Motherboard and CPU were running hot. 80*C and higher when running a game. GOOD NOTE: I called iBuyPower's Tech Support and the guy told me it was probably a problem with the thermal paste on the CPU. I have not yet fixed it (don't have the time) but fixed the solution myself before calling by lowering the Ghz on the CPU to 2.9ghz instead of 3.5ghz.

2. I did NOT get 8gb of 1600hz RAM... I got 800hz. That is dissapointing, although from what I've read, hz doesn't have a whole lot to do with gaming... but since I bought 8gb of 1600hz Gskill X I don't really care anyway. On a funny side note, the fan or heatsink or whatever is a big blooming fan and I can't fit the 2 4gb Gskill's in there! lol I have to go get me a new fan or whatever it's called.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a good gaming PC where you can STILL buy a screen and everything else you need AND stay under $1,000... you can NOT do better than this PC. I hope iBuyPower or NewEgg or whoever will continue to sell these... I have already been recommending this PC to everyone on a budget.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy!

Pros: Even thought this computer doesn't have the best parts, you get a good deal for what you actually pay for. This computer is budget friendly for people on tight budgets.

Cons: Heat sink isn't that good and the computer heats up pretty often.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for gaming but iffy so far

Pros: I just got this for about 3 days so far. It runs fast and play all the games that I want. CSGO, DOTA2. Great for the money

Cons: Suddenly shut down multiple times. I double check my power supply to make sure it connects properly. Lets hope it doesn't die on me soon.

2 out of 5 eggsArrived with hard drives loose in case

Pros: Cost. Video card capable of driving a 4k monitor at 60 Hz (DisplayPort 1.2). Ease of access inside the case

Cons: When I opened up the case (as instructed to remove packaging) I found that the 3.5" drive cage was malformed and that the included hard drive was hanging loose in the case. The nature of the deformation of the cage inside the case makes it very unlikely to have been carrier damage.

Other Thoughts: The system was booting very slowly (hour+) if at all with my Logitech wireless keyboard attached. I ended up having to use the included USB keyboard to get anywhere. Then the system power-saved (and so skipped) the Windows key entry screen. Debating whether to just return for a replacement or to just buy parts and build my own.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: All around great system for the price, solid GPU and processor, onboard wifi and bluetooth.

Cons: The case is mostly plastic and the LED's are pretty dim.

Other Thoughts: This is one of the best systems that you can buy for the money. It's great for gaming, I can run most games on high graphics including both Sleeping Dogs and Mirrors Edge, the only downside is the plastic construction of the case.

3 out of 5 eggsOverheats

Pros: Fast, cheap, good gpu for the price.

Plays World of Warcraft on ultra settings at about 40 fps in major cities. Plays Team Fortress 2 on max settings without any problems. Plays Sniper Elite 2 without any issues.

Cons: Started overheating the day I got it home. Haven't had it BSOD yet but monitoring the temps via various programs and the BIOS shows that the mobo and processor are running at or above the manufacturer's max suggested temp when idle. CPU is running above 76C (max 61) and mobo was at 80c when idle and a whopping 90C when simple downloading a game on steam.

Wi-fi is terrible, an external wireless card is a must if you're not going to be right next to the router. Ping in games with the default network card was over 600, and 19 with an external card.

PSU is a bit weak for the parts, plan on buying a 700 watt+ psu in the near future.

Also, though this is a software problem likely, I had to repair windows the second time booting the system.

Due to the heating problems either count on spending more on another cooling system or get the extended warranty because parts will not last long under these conditions.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for, and what you're getting here is a seemingly great computer that will die in a year at best if left with default hardware.
